Mariano Defies Lily When She Tries To Get Rid Of Elizabeth & Ambo.Lara Returns To Lito With News Of The Encounter At The Club. Cardo Captures Lia In Another Encounter.
The episode begins with Lily telling Augustus of her plan to get rid of all the pests in the Palace. She has him bring over Elizabeth and Ambo and makes it crystal clear that she doesn’t want them in the Palace any longer. Elizabeth and Ambo try in vain to plead their case and when Mariano comes upon the scene, she defies Lily defiantly, declaring that no one will be leaving. Lily seethes with rage.
The Eagles prepare the table for breakfast and Delfin is even more troubled when he learns that his grandson hasn’t returned from the city yet. In the meantime, Ambo tells Mariano of how James and Salonga had joined Cardo’s group to rescue Diana and Teddy. Lia quickly goes to the reception to ask for their cooperation to catch her target.
In no time, she calls Albert at black ops headquarters from the hotel reception to notify him of the situation. Lara and her companions return to the mansion to whine to Lito about what Cardo had done to the guys who are now in the hospital.
She’s eager for some payback but Lito objects to it, stating that it’s not the right time to strike back at them just yet. Lara throws a fit. While Albert assembles his team to capture their target, Lia finally musters the courage to storm into Cardo’s room but finds it empty.
Cardo walks out of the hotel through the back door and Lia pursues him and catches up to him as he’s about to get into his car. Training her gúñ on him, she calls out to him and demands for him to surrender.As expected, our favorite hero reacts quickly, swirling out of danger and engaging the enemy in a guñfight that lingers but only for a while.
Eventually, Lia gets güñnêd down and Cardo towers over her and declaring his vengeance for his wife, he fires off a couple of shots. Albert and his team arrive at the hotel to search the place and they find nothing but evidence of the guñfight and some blood.
They question reception and learn of what had transpired. Captain Mante’s car is soon found nearby and Albert concludes that she’s the one injured and captured. As Delfin and the guys worry about the welfare of our favorite hero, Virgie begins with her nonsensical ranting and Delfin gives her a piece of his mind.
Cardo is driving the unconscious Lia and when he comes across a checkpoint in town, he changes route to avoid getting spotted. Meanwhile, the black ops members tend to get worried for their safety and that of their families since Cardo could get information out of Lia.
Albert lamely vows to k!ll him the next time they meet. With Ellen now out of the picture, Lily is delighted when Augustus gives her a brilliant idea – to let another woman take Ellen’s place in Mariano’s life. Without wasting time, Lily calls her niece Cassandra and asks her to come over to the Palace.
It’ll be a cold day in hell before she allows Mariano to ruin her grand plan. Albert and Andrea are both guilt-ridden over their betrayal and they can only hope that Lia makes it out alive. The episode concludes as Cardo continues to drive the unconscious wounded Lia in his car.
