Hugo Makes An Usual Deal With Ali While Rumours Begin To Circulate About His Condition In Grand Horizon. Sparks Fly As Eloy Teaches Ali To Slow Dance.
The episode begins with Hugo playing golf in the backyard while Ali brings him a glass of juice. Helena shows up for a surprise visit to ask her brother whether he’s really sick. Hugo denies it and when the Toledo project is brought up, he snaps and declares that he’ll sign the papers when he feels like it.
After he storms off, Helena holds Ali back and urges her to do everything in her power to take good care of her brother and ensure that he attends the company’s event in order to save it. Hugo is back to playing golf with such frustration and Eloy observes him silently as a series of flashbacks regarding the old man play out.
Ali comes to check up on Hugo and she makes a futile attempt to convince him to attend the event. After Hugo leaves, Eloy comes over to ask what the matter is. Their conversation gives Ali the perfect idea to fulfill Helena’s wish. Soon enough, Ali contacts her mother on the phone to request for her help in getting a dress for the stockholders night.
She dresses up in no time, leaving Eloy mesmerized. Anyway, Ali gladly asks to be Hugo’s date for the company event and he reluctantly agrees if only she learns how to dance properly. Ali doesn’t pass up the chance to tease Eloy after Hugo leaves.
During Eloy’s next visit to his father in prison, they talk about Eloy’s investigation and his apparent interest in Ali. Fred recounts how he had gotten together with Hanna his late mother and when she had taught him how to dance. Ironically at the Palace, Ali makes a ridiculous attempt to learn slow dancing by herself with an imaginary partner.
When Eloy comes upon the scene, he resolves to help her out by teaching her to slow dance with his mother’s technique. Hugo happens to see them dancing and he observes for a while before going back to his room to reflect on a similar memory with his wife. Ultimately, Ali expresses her appreciation to Eloy for helping her out.
Margie arrives at the police station to find Rosales scolding one of his guys. When Rosales notices her presence, he cools down and actually gives everyone a break. Hugo is being served his breakfast when Ali walts in, showing off her slow dance moves. In spite of this, Hugo refuses to hold up his end of the bargain and attend the event.
Later, Eloy finds him cooped up in his car to avoid Ali’s nagging and he tries to explain the situation at the company to him. When Ali comes over, she’s compelled to reveal what Helena had told her earlier. Hugo leaves in a bad mood and Ali reprimands Eloy for spilling the beans. Meanwhile, Hugo calls Jimmy on the phone to ask of the situation at the company.
