Ali Takes Delight In Eloy’s Misery As Heart Visits The Mansion. Rosales Makes A Shocking Discovery. Jill Begins To Get Suspicious Of Hugo’s Condition.
Eloy steps out of the mansion to receive the spare parts Tox had brought to him. Tox urges him to quicken up the pace in fixing Hugo’s car so he can finally come home soon. She worries that things could go wrong if he stays too long. Heart observes from within a taxi nearby.
At Grand Horizon, Jill recalls the recent strange behavior of grandpa Hugo on several occasions and she begins to suspect that he might be sick. As she begins blabbering to Atty. Evangelista, Helena comes over to scold her for spreading nonsense.
Helena then tries to call her brother on the phone but he doesn’t pick up. A moment later, Ali prepares Hugo’s breakfast and a remedy for his hangover. Heart scolds her grandson for getting drunk last night and Ali comes to add to the trouble, deliberately making Heart scold Eloy even more.
When Ali introduces herself, Heart ridiculously exposes her grandson’s interest in a nurse who goes by the same name, unknown to her that it’s the very same Ali. Eloy couldn’t have been more embarrassed, what with Ali seemingly delighted with her nonstop teasing.
Having gotten no lead on the prime suspect of the hotel theft, Captain Rosales decides to fish for information about his accomplices. He goes to see Mr. Ben to ask him some questions and he blabbers about how Heart and the kids had raised a huge sum of money for his hospital bills after his accident.
Ali informs grandpa Hugo about Eloy’s grandma’s presence at the house and she’s surprised when he doesn’t lash out at her. Hugo goes to check up on his car and gets to meet Heart. In the meantime, Ben returns home from his physical therapy, blabbering about how he had supposedly put in a good word for Eloy with Captain Rosales.
Tox is taken by surprise when she learns of what her father had told the policeman. While Ali has a heartfelt conversation with her mother via video call, Eloy calls the gāñg to ask for an update on Captain Rosales and they make him believe that there’s no cause for alarm.
Upon returning to the mansion, Jill laments over Hugo’s unexplained leave from the company. Ali refuses to let her disturb his rest so Jill hands over some papers for him to sign. Later that night, Eloy and Ali run into each other in the kitchen.
Eloy thanks Ali for entertaining his grandma earlier and when she asks why he had turned out the way he is, he merely states that she doesn’t really know him. A couple of Grand Horizon’s executives are worried for the company on account of the rumours of Hugo being sick.
Helena strives to calm them down, assuring them that her brother is fine and he wouldn’t miss the much anticipated stockholders meeting. Meanwhile, Hugo is reluctant to attend said meeting, afraid that his body and mind might fail him. While Ali comes to fetch him for his morning walk, Heart talks to Fred about her visit to the mansion.
