Ali Witnesses The Surprising Scene Of Hugo Bonding With Eloy Over A Bottle Of Whiskey. Margie Grudgingly Reconciles With Rosales. Eloy Plots To Gain Hugo’s Trust.
The episode picks up from the last one where Ali and Eloy were left staring at each other. Eloy recounts how his life had turned out after their initial meeting and Ali goes on about how he hadn’t turned out to be the good person that she thought he was back then.
Later, Eloy goes to hand over the NDA to Hugo at his study and the old man cautions him not to try to pull anything funny against him. When Ali is coming over to check up on Hugo, he together with Eloy evade her and after she goes wandering around the house, they resurface to resume their conversation about the NDA agreement.
They have a couple of drinks and the talk soon shifts to Ali and her character. Ali notices that the lights from the study is on and she is taken by surprise when she sees Eloy and grandpa Hugo having a hearty conversation and laughing over some drinks.
For a moment, Hugo stares at a photo of himself and his wife and he reflects on a sweet memory they had had together. Much to Eloy’s surprise, the old man begins to hum to a song. A moment later, Eloy is carrying him to his room when Ali intercepts them. She confronts them over what they’ve been up to before helping to take Hugo to bed.
Having been put to bed, Hugo counsels Ali and Eloy to admit it if they have feelings for each other, adding that they shouldn’t waste time but live life to the fullest. Ali gets pretty emotional about the old man’s rumblings regarding his life experiences. While Margie is watching a movie on her phone with Pat, Rosales shows up outside and begins calling her name.
Margie ignores him in style, even as Rosales sends a text message to apologize to her profusely. Eventually, Margie comes out of the house in such dramatic fashion and Rosales makes it a point to apologize again and explain things to her. Meanwhile, Ali cautions Eloy to never get grandpa Hugo drunk again.
She begins lecturing him about his behavior but Eloy who’s transfixed doesn’t seem to hear a single word. He merely pinches her cheek, saying that she’s cute. Rosales manages to reconcile with Margie and Pat spies from inside the house. Now in his room, Eloy recalls how he had snooped around Hugo’s study when he had gone to use the washroom.
The next morning, Heart talks to Ben about her recent visit to Fred in prison. At the mansion, Ali makes a pathetic attempt to avoid Eloy as the cooks observe with interest. When he approaches her, she confronts him over pinching her cheeks and calling her cute last night.
Eloy gloats and denies it, saying that it was probably because he had been drunk. Ultimately, Eloy talks to his gåñg on the phone, telling them to bring the spare parts to him at the mansion so could fix Hugo’s car. He plans to speed up the repairs in order to gain the old man’s trust and get more opportunities to continue his investigation.
