The episode begins with Heart visiting Fred in prison to inform him of how they had found out that Captain Rosales isn’t connected to Hugo in any way. On this note, Heart had agreed to let Eloy be the old man’s temporary driver. This doesn’t lessen Fred’s worries though.
Margie talks to Ali on the phone, scolding her for not replying to her texts often now that she’s living at the mansion. Ali tries to calm her down and explain things to her. The conversation shifts to Eloy and Rosales’ investigation on him and Ali reveals her childhood encounter with him, determined to keep an eye on him so he doesn’t swindle the poor old man.
Eloy gets the car ready for the appointment with doctor Lisa and Hugo mistakes him for Badong as his eyes seem to be failing him. When Jill learns that they’re headed to the hospital, she begins asking questions and Ali puts on a show to cover things up.
Once at the hospital, Hugo calls his buddy Jimmy and tells him to make another NDA for his temporary driver. Ali expresses her disapproval of his decision and when Hugo asks why she still doesn’t trust him, she states that there’s something he needs to know about Eloy.
At the mansion, the house staff and Jill gossip about how Ali had gotten locked out of the mansion last night. Back at the hospital’s parking lot, Hugo goes to confront Eloy about the investigation against him and his intention for working for him.
Eloy argues his case and Hugo resolves to let him sign the NDA so he doesn’t get the chance to expose his condition to others. Eloy confronts Ali for ratting him out to Hugo and she justifies her actions. She’s taken by surprise when she learns that Hugo hadn’t fired him but still wants him to sign the NDA.
A moment later , Hugo talks to the doctor about the progression of his episodes. Dr. Lisa agrees to increase the dosage of his medication if he passes some tests that will be conducted. She asks Hugo to mention the five different words he had been told to keep in mind. Hugo tends to get distressed when he realizes that he’s forgotten the word “wife”.
At the police station, Rosales is taken by surprise when he discovers that Eloy is working for Hugo who happens to be the owner of the hotel where the theft had occurred. He begins to wonder whether the old man is his real target. Ali gets pretty emotional over Hugo’s situation and she tells him to take lots of water so he doesn’t get dehydrated when he cries.
Hugo puts up a front. Eloy looks on in disbelief as he recalls a similar scene from his childhood, confirming the fact that Ali was that little girl who had helped him out before. On their way home, Ali tries to get Hugo to reconsider his decision to hire Eloy but the old man won’t hear any of it.
While Margie goes to the police station to sell some of her products, Hugo arrives back home with Ali and Eloy. Jill is surprised when Hugo cancels all of his appointments and declares an indefinite leave for himself. Hugo locks himself in his room and breaks down over forgetting his wife. Eventually, Eloy questions Ali about her being the little girl from the hospital.
