Ali Is Compelled To Make A Tough Decision. Captain Rosales Strives To Solve The Hotel Heist. Hugo Overhears His Staff’s Gossips.
Eloy decides to stay back at the hospital to take care of Ali while Badong drives grandpa Hugo back home. Margie is busy with her online shop when she receives the bad news. In the meantime, Eloy goes to check up on Ali who’s worked up because her ring is nowhere to be found. Eloy is amused when he sees her squirming because her back is itching.
He offers to help scratch it for her but Ali strongly refuses. At the mansion, the staff gossip about Ali’s supposed pregnancy and Jill who isn’t happy with it gives them a piece of her mind. Margie soon arrives at the hospital to make a fuss over her daughter. Much to the amusement of Eloy and everyone else, she scolds Ali for not taking good care of herself.
Eloy has his share of the scolding before being dismissed. Margie then has a heartfelt conversation with her daughter and she charges her to let go of one job for the sake of her health. Ali apologizes, saying that she needs to save up for med school but Margie will hear none of it. Eventually, Ali is compelled to let her sister Pat write her a resignation letter.
Badong notifies grandpa Hugo about the situation and the old man refuses to get a replacement, saying that he’s doing just fine. The next morning, Eloy manages to find Ali’s lost ring. Captain Rosales shows some photos of Eloy and his buddies to the hotel guard in hopes of identifying them as the culprits. He’s frustrated when the guard fails to identify them.
Margie decides to put Ali on strict bed rest after getting discharged from the hospital. They receive a gift from Eloy which turns out to be cassava cakes. Captain Rosales goes to the auto shop in search of Eloy, on the guise of being a client. He meets his grandma instead and decides to leave his phone number behind.
Later that night, Rosales pays Margie a surprise visit at home and manages to cheer her up. The next morning, Eloy is delighted when he sees Ali at the mansion. As he approaches her with her ring, he stumbles and ends up on one knee as he simultaneously keeps the ring from falling. The moment of drama is cut short when Ali snatches back her ring and throws Eloy shade.
She then heads inside, surprising Hugo with her decision to retain her job as his private nurse/assistant. Ali can’t help but to tease the old man with how he had been worried about her. Later, she goes to get him his breakfast and the staff begin gossiping about her once she leaves. Hugo refuses to eat his breakfast, saying that it’s only fit for a goat.
Upset, the old man storms over to the kitchen to confront the staff with Ali in tow, only to overhear them gossiping about whether Ali is his side chick or not. After listening for a while, Hugo confronts the staff and gives them a piece of his mind, declaring that it’s none of their business if he and Ali are in a relationship because they’re both single.
The gossipmongers take this as confirmation to their suspicions. Meanwhile, grandma Heart recalls the news report of the hotel heist and her encounter with Captain Rosales. She tends to get worried as she begins to connect the pieces together.
