Cardo Makes A Deal With Arturo In Exchange For Diana & Teddy. Lily Has Sinister Plans Of Her Own. Jacob Pays A Surprise Visit To Lito While Cardo Rises Up To The Challenge.
The episode begins with Lily arriving at her rest house in San Marcelo to see their captives. She taunts and makes a mockery of them and Diana engages in an exchange of words with her that doesn’t please her one bit. Meanwhile, Cardo hands over a phone to Clarisse to call her father.
Once she does so, he snatches it to make a proposal to Arturo – his daughter in exchange for Diana and Teddy.Arturo agrees to the deal and Lily plans to prepare for the arrival of the group. While Ellen fools around with Mariano in bed, Lily secretly plans to eliminate Clarisse if she gets in the way of her plans.
Arturo goes to taunt Diana and Teddy with the exchange, saying that their end will come once he takes back his daughter. In detention, Hipolito gloats over how Lily and Arturo would probably fail against Cardo’s team without his assistance. The Agilas worry about the success of their mission since they can’t match the numbers and fire power of their enemies.
Cardo declares that they would outsmart them with underhanded tactics. In no time, they begin making preparations for their mission and Clarisse observes them silently from upstairs. She can only hope that no one gets hurt in the exchange. Lily contacts her men to summon them to her rest house for tomorrow’s encounter.
Clarisse isn’t happy with the exchange because she doesn’t want to leave Cardo’s side and the group. She professes her løve for him, saying that she’s willing to wait for as long as possible. Cardo says it’s high time she realizes that he’s not the right man for her. He thanks her for all the help she’s given him and the group and the interaction concludes with a dramatic embrace.
The next morning, Ramil tells Lito that he’s going to Cardo’s group to get some information from them. He’s delighted when Lito lets him take one of his cars. A moment later, Lito has a talk with Lara’s group about the matter and how they can use Ramil to their advantage. And who would make a surprise entrance?
The one and only Jacob Serrano. He’s come to say hi in person because Lito hasn’t been picking his and uncle Ren’s calls. Lito apologizes. He’s been busy but all their significant transactions will push through. Jacob has an exchange of words with Lara’s group, calling them a bunch of “small fries”.
Lito is surprised to learn what Renato has been up to. Lily talks to Arturo and lays out her ultimate plan for supremacy and dominance over the country and the drug trade. In private, Lito asks Jacob about why Renato had surrendered and he assures him that it’s all part of his plans.
When Jacob asks of Lara’s group, he also tells him that they’re crucial for the expansion of their business. Arturo worries that his daughter could get hurt so he urges that they have to ensure her safety before they go ahead to k!ll off Cardo and his group. Lily pretends to be on board with this but silently, she vows not to let anyone get in the way of her getting rid of her enemies once and for all.
Albert meets with his team to discuss some files containing the history of the task force. Meanwhile, Cardo discards his crutch and his arm sling, resolved to resume the fight for his cause and the country. He retrieves his wëâpon as he prays for the safety of the group.
Lily gives her men the order to take their positions once they arrive at the rendezvous place, just as Lia and another officer begin profiling the task force at headquarters. While Delfin discusses the mission with some of the guys, Cardo takes everyone by surprise by showing up in his full gear, ready for battle. The episode concludes as our favorite hero looks on with a vengeance.
