Ali Makes A Wrongful Impression Of Herself & Grandpa Hugo. Margie & Pat Have A Dinner Guest. Eloy Begins To Piece Together The Truth About Hugo.
The episode begins with Ali arriving home from work. She’s met by her mother who informs her of how she had decided to pardon the deliveryman after captain Rosales had apprehended him. Margie brings up the “thank you” dinner with the captain and makes it clear that it was Pat who had invited him.
Ali agrees to it as long as they’re just friends. She dozes off as her mother begins to chatter. The next morning, Eloy goes with his grandma to see his father in prison. He talks to him about what he’s discovered so far, especially his lawyer’s probable motive for sabotaging his case.
Helen gives Ali her brother’s favorite meal to serve him and on her way out, Jill approaches her and begins to badmouth Ali. Jill blabbers about how Ali’s intention is to take advantage of grandpa Hugo. Helen is skeptical of her claims and insinuations, stating that her brother is a good judge of character.
While Margie is setting up for her online trade, Pat calls her on the phone to remind her about the dinner with the captain. Eloy is taken by surprise when he discovers that Ali is still working at the hospital. On this account, he begins to wonder whether there’s any truth to the rumours going around that Hugo is Ali’s sugar daddy.
Pat arrives home as her mother is showing off some dance moves to sway her viewers to buy her products. Captain Rosales arrives in no time and he’s amazed with her comical performance.
During dinner, Pat gets Rosales to spill the fact that he’s not in any relationship.
Margie is appalled at her daughter. Upon learning that Rosales has no stress relieving activity, she begins blabbering about how the captain and her daughter Ali are both workaholics. She urges Rosales to enjoy himself once in a while. At the hospital, a coworker urges Ali to take tomorrow off to rest since she’s been working nonstop.
Ali is reluctant to do so yet ends up dozing off right on the spot. The next morning, Heart finds her grandson in deep thoughts and when she asks what’s bothering him, Eloy goes on about how he could be wrong about Hugo. Later at the mansion, he asks Ali about the jobs she’s been juggling.
Ali is taking a walk with grandpa Hugo when he has a dizzy spell. As she checks his temperature and other vitals, the house staff spot them and begin gossiping, putting meaning into how Ali had held the old man’s hand. Hugo reluctantly agrees to let Ali check his blood pressure once they’re away from prying eyes.
In the meantime, Margie takes drama to the extreme by calling the captain to request for a search and rescue operation for Ali because she hasn’t come home since yesterday and can’t be reached. Rosales tries to calm her down. Eloy has a heartfelt conversation with Badong and Dino about grandpa Hugo and his behavior.
Dino makes mention of how the old man’s memory seems to be getting rusty of late and Badong shuts him up. At her workplace, Tox whines about how Eloy always talks about no one but Ali. Speaking of, Ali is glad when Hugo tells Jill to free up some hours of his time everyday so he can have that time to rest.
Eloy reflects on what Dino had said earlier and manages to figure out the old man’s condition. A moment later, Hugo comes over to check up on his car. Eventually, Eloy overhears Jill whining to atty. Evangelista about her suspicions of Ali and the guy vows to make sure that Ali doesn’t pull a fast one on Hugo.
