Lily’s Plans For The Elections Are Put At Risk. Hipolito Shocks The Nation As He Pulls A Fast One On Lily & Arturo. Task Force Agila Acquire Intel While Teddy & Diana Are Tørtüred.
Hipolito returns to the hideout and he excitedly tells Jacob of how he would make use of Ellen to clear his name through the infamous puppet that is the fake president. Ellen also returns to the Palace and she goes to see Mariano to declare that their plan to bring Lily down will push through with Renato’s help. Delfin and the rest of the guys join Cardo at the table to talk to him about their plan to rescue Diana and Teddy.
They decide to go and meet James for an update on the situation, insisting that Cardo should stay behind since he hasn’t fully recovered. Yet again, Ramil talks down on Cardo’s rescue plan, saying that it’s doomed to fail. Virgie rears her ugly head to add to the trouble. Lily talks to Mariano about the speech he has to deliver at her upcoming charity event.
In the meantime, Teddy and Diana are tørtüred by Renato’s lackey who strives to make them talk. On the phone, Hipolito makes it clear to Mariano that from now on, he would follow his orders to the letter for their plans to come into fruition. Ellen is delighted.
The guys make ready to leave for Manila and Jerome stays back to keep our favorite hero company. Ellen hands over the new speech to Mariano which had been personally dictated by Renato. Renato dresses up to leave the hideout for the Palace, confident that he would soon be a free man without much struggle.
The Agilas begin their journey to Manila and Greco and a few of the guys try in vain to talk some sense into Ramil in regards to his resentment towards our favorite hero. A series of flashbacks show how Lito had gotten out of his abject poverty by working as a gardener for a crime boss. He had earned the trust of the boss by snitching on one of his men who intended to betray him.
Lily talks to Arturo about the upcoming press conference, confident that she would be able to win the people over and get them to vote for her in the elections. The Agilas meet with James who updates them on the situation of Diana and Teddy. They soon begin to plan their rescue. Fake Oscar Mariano addresses the public to talk about his blasted administration and the upcoming elections.
Much to Ellen’s delight and Lily’s chagrin, Mariano deviates from the original speech and begins to trash talk Cardo and Task Force Agila while making Hipolito seem like one of their victims. The fake president requests Renato’s voluntary surrender to give him “the justice he deserves”.
Lily and everyone else is shocked when Renato actually shows himself to put on a show for the ages. Later, the Vulture manages to win over some of the guards to their side while he’s in detention at the Palace. Lily and Arturo are upset when those guards refuse to let them go and confront Mariano for his treachery.
While Teddy is tørtüred some more by the goon, Jerome and a couple of the guys discuss Cardo’s difficult situation; they believe that he would be able to get through it like always. Cardo continues to brood by himself as the episode comes to a conclusion.
