David Finally Comes To His Senses. Jill Gets Her Happy Ending After Another Heartbreaking Incident.
David continues to hesitate as Jill is driving on the road somewhere. He takes his sweet time to suck the drug out of the red bottle and he begins toying with the syringe in a ridiculous manner. After further hesitation, David finally injects the drug into his veins and he starts to get drowsy as it begins to take effect. He staggers to the floor, crawls to the bed and ends up passing out as he leans on it.
A moment later, Jill arrives to find him and she resolves to move his body and put him on a bedsheet. She then sits comfortably and stares at him. While Gio is organizing some of his stuff at home, David regains consciousness, somewhat dazed and he’s surprised to see Jill there. After Jill goes to get him a glass of water to drink, he asks why he’s not dëâd when he had followed all of her instructions.
Jill says the drugs she had given him weren’t lethal, adding that as a doctor, she saves lives and she could never be capable of poisøñing or k!lling someone. She then strives to talk some sense into her ex, telling him to own up to his mistakes and make amends and not try to take the easy way out. Surprisingly, David listens and promises to set his life straight and not bother her anymore.
On her way out, Jill recalls some good memories with her ex-husband which gets her emotional. That night, she returns home to find the house completely deserted. She finds her son’s phone on the table and she opens it and finds a video Gio had left him to say goodbye.
In the said video, this little man apologizes to his mother for leaving her, saying that he’s tired of all the chaos and wants to live a peaceful life. Jill gets pretty emotional and breaks down. A moment later, she goes to the police station to report her son’s disappearance. David suddenly shows up and comes to know of it.
Just then, Jill receives a phone call from Gabi, telling her that Gio’s suspension has been lifted and he’s been given a second chance. This good news makes Jill even more heartbroken and David resolves to console her. It’s been a couple of weeks after Gio’s disappearance and Jill strives to cope.
In the mansion, Lexy broods for a while before her daughter Kylie shows to wave at her excitedly. Lexy returns the favor. In the meantime, David goes job hunting at some company where his fellow job seekers stare at him as if he has two heads or something.
When it’s his turn to go inside for the interview, he walks out of the building and dumps his file in the dustbin. He then carries on with swag. Jill is dropped off at home by Gabi and after he leaves, she goes to pick up her son’s basketball which he had left behind.
Jill yearns for Gio to come back home. Sometime later as Jill is inside, a knock sounds on the door and she goes to answer. Jill is delighted when she sees her son and she gladly reunites with him. They head over to the balcony where they gaze at the view of the city as the show comes to a ridiculous end.
