The Luceros Continue To Hold A Grudge Against David. Jill Tries To Save Her Nemesis. David Makes A Scene Again. Lexy Finally Comes To Terms With The Terrible Truth.
Mr. Lucero is having a moment with his granddaughter when his daughter comes over to join them. Fred boasts about how he had sung Kylie to sleep and they reflect on some good memories during Lexy’s childhood.
Later, Lexy has dinner with David who’s glad that his in-laws hadn’t joined them at the table. Out of the blue, he produces a gift he had brought for his beloved wife and he passes it over to her. Lexy reluctantly accepts it, saying that they have to settle their issues so that the negative emotions don’t affect their daughter.
Gio remains upset with Max and Mika for telling his father about the hotel the other day and Jill strives to reason with him. Nathalia has a discussion with her husband about what David had done to their daughter. She wants him to be dealt with and Fred merely assures her that he knows what he’s doing.
Jill dines with Gio and talks to him about their plans to leave Baguio. She tries in vain to get him to tell her why he had initially chosen his dad over her. Gio brings up Gabi and Jill tells him that she can’t possibly get into a relationship with him because of their complicated situation.
Gio then apologizes for how he had acted up all those times. A moment later, Jill meets up with Lexy somewhere and she strives to open her eyes to David’s lies and deception. Lexy is in denial but can’t ignore all the facts. David goes in search of his wife at the office but doesn’t find her there.
In the meantime, Jill tries to talk some sense into Lexy, telling her that she shouldn’t waste her life with David. Just then, she receives a phone call from David which apalls Lexy. Jill tells her that David would never stop harassing them no matter where they go. Speaking of, David drives around and lurks near the hotel his son and ex are staying.
While Jill is visiting Sandy at the hospital, Gio, against better judgement, decides to leave the hotel to go and buy a new charger at a nearby phone shop. David sees him and latches onto him like a parasite, refusing to let him go. As he tries to drag him away, Jill arrives on time with Sandy and Carol to stop him.
Security is alerted and they restrain David and compel him to leave. Lexy is brooding by herself when her mother comes over and begins to talk to her about her marriage with her father. Apparently, Fred had cheated on her before but had changed for the better.
Nathalia tries to make her daughter see that David isn’t someone who is capable of changing. Later, Lexy runs into Diane and questions her about how she had pretended to be her friend. Diane gives her a piece of her mind. Upon returning home, Lexy watches Jill’s wedding video with David and she’s devastated to confirm that it’s the same vows David had sent to her.
David calls her on phone to tell her that he would be home late because of work. When he says that he løves her, Lexy’s reply is, “I løved you.” This leaves David confused and Lexy merely discards the phone and continues sobbing.
