Lily Plots To Become President & Eliminate Oscar. Mariano & Hipolito Both Have Plans Of Their Own. Ellen Continues To Play Arturo. Alyana Tries To Make Amends. Cardo’s Friendship With Ramil Remains Strained.
The episode begins with Elizabeth telling her companions about “the president’s” order for expensive flowers, supposedly to give it to Lily as a gift. Since Elizabeth can’t go outside the Palace, she asks James to go and buy the flowers for her. Virgie has another one of her ridiculous arguments with her husband where she rants nonstop over their situation, blaming our favorite hero like always.
In the meantime, Lily returns to the Palace with Arturo and she begins asking whether he also has ambitions of becoming the president. Arturo denies it and tries to convince her that he’s fine with his current position. Hipolito has a talk with Jacob about Lily’s plan to set up a troll farm to boost her image and win the elections.
He’s all for the idea but has plans of his own – to replace Lily as president when the time is right. On the phone, Lito talks to Renato about their business agreement. Renato secretly plots to get rid of him if he proves to be useless to him. Lily is glad when she finds that Mariano has recommitted himself to the success of her plans.
James and Salonga meet up with Teddy and Diana to update them on the status of things at the Palace. Teddy urges them to keep a watchful eye on Lily in order to figure out what she’s up to. He soon receives a phone call from a buddy of his in the media regarding the expose against Lily and Arturo.
Virgie begins running her mouth like the pêst that she is. Anyway, Lily wants to increase the dosage of the sedative being administered to Oscar but the doctor cautions that his body might not be able to take it. Lily towers over her poor husband’s body and gloats over how she would finally finish him off once she becomes president.
Lito’s doctor checks up on Delfin and he’s amazed with his quick recovery. Delfin asks to join the rest of the group for breakfast. Alyana joins her auntie in the kitchen and begins blabbering the praises of her husband so much that it gets pretty annoying. At the mansion, Salvador cautions his boss that Hipolito could turn against them and Lito declares that he’s ready and prepared for that.
Alyana helps her auntie to serve everyone’s breakfast and there’s a little bit of friction when it’s stated that Ramil had refused to eat with them. Delfin joins them at the table and they all start eating. When Ramil shows up ready for work, Mauring offers him the food Cardo had had her pack for him but he rejects it and carries on.
Arturo tries to talk things out with his wife to settle their issues, only for Ellen to ask him for a special gift – running as president. Arturo scoffs and asks of the whereabouts of his last special gift (a necklace). Ellen claims she wears it on special occasions but begins to worry because she doesn’t remember where she left it.
Lily comes over to make conversation; she has Ellen’s necklace and plans to use it against her if she tries to ruin her plans. A moment later, Arturo sees an expose against him and Lily and man he isn’t happy. Cardo reflects on his brotherhood with Ramil which began from prison. He beats himself up for the strain on their friendship.
Alyana soon joins him and they have a heartfelt conversation about their reconciliation. They both talk to Grandma Flora on the phone who’s delighted with the good news. After the phone call, the questionable couple profess their løve for each other before sharing a ki$$ and a hug. Ewww.
