Lito makes it his mission to impress Hipolito as their meeting approaches. Salvador points out his cunning nature and history of stabbing people in the back but this doesn’t seem to bother the boss. Renato has his very own agenda for agreeing to meet with Lito in his own territory, and Jacob takes sick pleasure in his sinister plan.
In the meantime, Alyana resolves to do everything she can to make up for her shortcomings as Cardo’s wife. Mariano vows to do everything Ellen demands of him in order to keep her for himself. Lily decides to increase the dosage of the sedative administered to Oscar in order to keep him under control, eager to have Cardo captured so she can finish both of them off at the same time.
Arturo’s lackeys set out to flush out the allies of Teddy in the media. Cardo remains ignorantly bliss with Alyana’s sudden change into playing the role of the dutiful wife. After a new expose is published about Lily and Arturo by an ally of Teddy’s, Lily decides to take swift action against the perpetrator.
