Alyana Remains Guilt-ridden; Cardo Delights In Her Decision. Lito Is Upset To Discover His Money Missing. While Lily & Arturo Meet Up With Hipolito & Jacob, Ellen Manipulates Mariano To Do Her Dirty Work.
The episode begins with guilt-ridden Alyana crying one of her pointless tears. Bubbles comes over to keep her company and has nothing better to say than to urge her to let the matter go and move on since it’s already happened. Lito talks to Renato on the phone and sets up a business meeting for the next day. He plans to impress him for the sake of his business.
Alyana resolves to help out her auntie in the kitchen and also to set the table for dinner. Cardo soon shows up and it doesn’t take long for the guys to return from work to take their seats at the table. As expected, Ramil doesn’t join them but goes into his room to sulk and blabber over what Cardo did to him.
In the meantime, Macoy plans to leave for Manila tomorrow morning since he has enough money now. Lily arrives at the drug lab with Arturo to check out the place and Renato receives them and gives them a rundown of how things have gone so far. Ellen is still in bed with Mariano who wants to go another round but she refuses.
She then calls her husband on the phone to see if he would be returning to the Palace any time soon. While the Agilas dine together, Ramon brings up Lito and his business and Alyana takes everyone by surprise by revealing her decision to quit work. She claims it’s a personal decision because she wants to stay home and take care of grandpa Delfin.
Cardo is delighted. Lito goes to get the money he had hidden away in order to pay Renato for the products he would be bringing tomorrow. He’s not the least bit happy when he notices that some of the money is gone. Back at the dining table, Cardo talks to the guys about the issue with Ramil and how to settle it. Later, he has a talk with Alyana about the situation of the group.
He beats himself up over the mess they’re in, not knowing whether or not they would come out of it alive. Alyana makes a pathetic attempt to cheer him up and out of the blue, she asks if he would be able to forgive her if there comes a time when she’s the one who does something hurtful to him.
Lito summons Salvador and Turo to tell them about the theft and the latter accuses someone from Cardo’s group. Cardo declares his undying løve for his wife and goes on about how he could never live without her.On this note, he’s willing to even sacrifice his dignity so that he doesn’t lose her no matter her mistakes. Lily and Arturo discuss things further with Renato and Jacob regarding the drug lab.
Lily then brings up her plans for the upcoming elections. Speaking of, Ellen urges Mariano to become the authentic president by getting rid of both Lily and her own husband. Mariano is reluctant and she reminds him that Lily and Arturo will definitely have them k!lled if they find out what they’ve been up to.
Mariano then declares that he would do it. Victor tries in vain to talk some sense into Ramil. Meanwhile, Lily and Arturo return to the Palace, pleased with Renato’s usefulness. Arturo worries that Renato could turn against them because of his apparent thirst for power and Lily declares that she would deal with him if he tries to bite her.
