David Continues To Harass His Rejected Family. Gio Says His Goodbyes. Jill Talks Things Out With Gabi & Gives David Double For His Trouble.
David goes to the hospital in search of Jill and he’s surprised to find out from Claire that she had already resigned. When Sandy shows up, he asks whether Jill has really left town with their son and she tells him that it can’t be so because of her promise to attend her wedding. This is news to David who had no idea whatsoever.
In the meantime, Gio has a heartfelt conversation with Max about the recent happenings. He apologizes again for everything he had done as he would be leaving town soon. The boys part ways on a good note. David lingers outside Carol’s house and when she comes out, he begins pestering her since he suspects that she’s inhabiting his rejected family.
Carol puts him in his place and strongly refuses to let him inside or confirm his suspicions. In the meantime, Gio is returning to the house when he sees his dad making a scene outside. He hides and calls his mother on the phone. Charlie has come with a peace offering to try to talk things out with his wife but his efforts are useless due to the situation.
After Carol goes back inside, Charlie confronts David and an exchange of words ensues. Later, Sandy has a talk with Jill and manages to convince her to attend her wedding tomorrow. Mr. Lucero isn’t happy that David has been handling the company (Lucero Builders) anyhow. He scolds him for taking the things he had given him for granted.
David tries to justify himself but that move doesn’t really amount to much. Jill honors Sandy’s wedding with Dino and in no time, David shamelessly shows up to confront her and make a scene, refusing to let her take his son away. An exchange of words ensues before Carol comes to chase him off.
Later, Jill runs into Gabi and they talk things out regarding the plan to leave town as well as the one-night affair with David. When Gabi asks if she still løves her ex on account of that, Jill states that what had happened was a mistake which she regrets. Her utmost priority is to be there for her son and not to get into any kind of relationship with anyone.
Gabi understands and says that he can still wait for her when she’s ready. Jill goes to the province to say her goodbyes to her medical associates there, only for David to show up and pester her for the chance to see his son. Jill refuses and laughs in David’s face when he tries to threaten her to cooperate.
A moment later, Jill pays Lexy a visit to deliver the tie David had left at her house the other night. Jill resolves to move out of Carol’s house with her son to a hotel so David won’t be able to find them and bother them. Lucero Builders have lost a huge project because David has been putting off some important business meetings.
Fred learns of this and though upset, he resolves to fix the mess. Ultimately, Lexy questions David about his constant visits to his ex-wife and when he plays dumb, she throws the tie in his face to jog his memory. David stares at the blasted thing and recalls sleeping with Jill as Lexy stares at him.
