The episode begins with Cardo taking Patrick by surprise by giving him the order to go and fetch Clarisse. Once he unties her and brings her over, our favorite hero begins blabbering about how sorry he is for what they had made her go through. Clarisse understands and promises to change for the better and not cause anymore problems if given a second chance.
Cardo then decides to grant her request and she’s quite grateful. At the Palace, Lily has a talk with Arturo about her plans to win Oscar’s allies onto her side. Mariano makes a desperate pass at Ellen upon setting eyes on her but she grudgingly resists and walks out on him.
Lito continues his blasted business with Alyana his most favorite lapdog by his side. In an interesting turn of events, Clarisse decides to take it upon herself to take care of grandpa Delfin after talking things out with Cardo. Diana and Teddy discuss their situation and how they need to act before Lily manages to get rid of them.
Nagging Virgie isn’t the least bit pleased to hear this. In the meantime, Grandma Flora talks to Cardo on the phone about her brother’s condition, hoping that she can get to talk to him once he starts getting better. Macoy has the bad luck of running into Berto and his lackeys and they beat him up pretty bad and strip him of his stolen money for failing to deliver honor their agreement.
A moment later, Macoy returns to the stables favoring his ribs and carrying some stuff he had been sent to collect. Ramil, Basco and co notice his injuries and when they ask, he claims that he had just tripped and fallen over a rock and hurt himself. The guys resolve to be ready in case Turo’s group comes at them.
Speaking of, Berto notifies Turo about the presence of Cardo’s group at the stables so the guy decides to rally his group to go and face them. They march over to the place with apparent purpose, putting the Agilas on high alert. When Basco asks what’s up, Turo states that they have come to make peace with them. He’s even ready to apologize personally to Cardo so they can all be “friends”.
A flashback reveals how Turo had planned to føöl Cardo’s group with an offer of peace and then lead them into his trap at the opportune time. Presently, Basco and the rest of the guys regard Turo’s group with caution and distrust, though they accept their so-called offer of friendship.
Mariano is upset that Ellen hasn’t fallen for him completely. He blames Oscar and decides to get rid of him for good. Without wasting time, this ridiculous imposter sneaks into the private room to go and smother the real president to dëâth with a pillow. Life no balance because Lily is the one who ends up saving her beloved, helpless husband from the psychøtic fake president.
Having heard the commotion earlier and with Mariano already banished to his room, James and Salonga come over to ask what’s wrong and Lily gives them a dressing down with her pathetic cover up story. While Turo cooks up a wicked scheme against the Agilas, Lily angrily confronts Mariano with a güñ. Mariano cowers and pleads for his life and Lily asks for one good reason why she shouldn’t finish him off.
