Gio Takes Mika & Max To Enzo’s Place Where An Incident Occurs. Max Ends Up In The Hospital. Jill Confronts Enzo & Gets Him Fired. Enzo Retaliates In The Worst Way Possible.
The episode begins with Gio having a video call with Mika who makes it a point to apologize to him profusely for ratting him out to his mother, thereby making the situation worse. Gio accepts her apology, not wanting her to stop being so nosy since it means that she cares. He still wants her to be his friend.
Max soon joins them and they do a little catching up, with Gio almost confessing his true feelings. David and Lexy discuss their plans to throw a birthday party for Gio this Saturday. At Pine Hill Hospital, Dr. Barry gives Jill the duty of organizing the gala for the working staff since she’s the one who had been doing it before.
Jill isn’t happy with it because the event falls on her son’s birthday on Saturday. She tries to protest but Dr. Claire doesn’t help matters. Gio takes Mika and Max to the arcade where he introduces his new “friend” Enzo to them.
Enzo invites them to his house for the gaming tournament and a moment later, Mika tries to talk some into Gio but it’s just a waste of breath as Gio emotionally blackmails her and Max to go with him. These kids decide to go to the house of the excon for the gaming but then they leave the place sooner than expected. It seems something happened between Gio and Mika in the washroom.
The next day, Mika refrains from going to school as she tells her mother that she isn’t feeling well. Jill is stuck with organizing the clinic’s anniversary but then she goes out of her way to prepare a cake for her son’s birthday celebration though she’s not welcome there.
Jill delivers the cake and another gift to Minx and David goes to confront her. While they’re both bickering as usual, they receive phone calls from the school about their son. It turns out that Gio had beaten up Max who’s now being taken to the hospital for treatment.
At the hospital, Max’s mother lashes out at Gio for what he had done to her son when they were supposed to be good friends. David and Jill soon arrive and make a futile attempt to get their son to tell them what had happened. Later that night, Gio returns to his room to find the birthday gift his mother had left him – an album of memories that gets him pretty emotional.
Jill is left sobbing as she takes some bites of the cake the Luceros had made Minx return. The next day in school, Jill strives to convince the principal not to suspend her son since he’s never caused problems before. At home, David gives Gio a talking-to and charges him not to give him anymore problems.
Jill reaches out to Mika after school is over and she finds out what had happened at Enzo’s place; Mika had ki$$ed Gio but had pushed him away and ran off when he wanted more. Jill urges her to inform her mother about the matter, adding that Gio has to apologize to her for what he had done.
Jill is horrified to learn that her son’s newfound friend is the one and only Enzo. In the meantime, Lexy scolds Gio for not coming down for dinner earlier. Also for his recent outbursts. She then warns him to stop causing more problems for them. Without wasting time, Jill goes to confront Enzo at the arcade and they get into an exchange of words.
A moment later, Enzo ends up getting fired from the arcade since Jill had reported him to the manager. That night, Jill receives a nasty surprise; a video loop of Gio trying to force himself on Mika. The episode concludes as Jill watches the video in horror.
