Carol & Jill Put The Luceros In Their Place. Gio Becomes Captain. David Remains Determined To Ruin His Ex. Lexy Is Humiliated By Jill. Gabi Becomes Jill’s Undoing.
Jill arrives outside the country club to wait for Carol since she’s running late. On the phone, Carol urges her to go inside because she already has a table reserved in her name. The Luceros take offense upon setting eyes on Jill, and even more so when she goes to sit at the envious table.
Nathalia makes the waitress kick Jill out. As she lingers at the waiting area, Carol finally arrives to learn what had happened and appalled, she goes in with Jill to confront the waitress and put her in her place. They soon take their seats at their table. Carol and Jill take turns taunting the Luceros.
When Jill overhears them gossiping about her wanting to sell her house, she goes to put them in their place. In school, Gio approaches Mika and manages to convince her to walk her to her stop after class. Jill expresses her appreciation to Carol for being there for her. They talk about her problems, with Carol assuring that things will be fine.
David meets up with Dr. Fuentabella and in spite of the fact that Jill already knows of their connection, he resolves to push through with his plan. Back in school, Gio is delighted when he’s announced the captain of the basketball team and his friends Max and Mika share in his joy. The next day, Jill makes an appearance to support her son for a basketball game.
When Gabi asks why she’s been ignoring his calls and texts, she tells him that though he’s a nice guy, nothing can happen between them given their situation. David and Lexy also make an appearance. After the game, Lexy offers to treat Gio and his friends to dinner. Jill ridicules her efforts and takes her son home; she had already prepared a celebratory dinner for him and his friends.
Soon enough, David calls her phone to question her about how she had embarrassed his wife and Jill gives him a piece of her mind. After talking to Diane on the phone, Jill decides to leave Gio and Max by themselves so she can go and see her at the new place she works.
She gets to the bar and they do a little catching up. Suddenly, Gabi shows up out of nowhere with a date. He proceeds with the lady to their table after greeting her. A moment later when Jill is leaving, some creep crosses her and begins harassing her. Gabi comes to the rescue and ends up in the possession of Jill’s sweater.
Jill leaves without taking back her sweater. The next day after basketball practice, the guys begin to make a mockery of their coach when they see the pink sweater in his bag. At the hospital, Jill tells Sandy of her recent encounter with Gabi and she gets all excited and begins blabbering about him being her knight in shining armor.
However, Jill reaffirms that they can’t get into a relationship. Back at the basketball court, Gio recognizes his mother’s sweater and he confronts Gabi and refusing to believe his explanation, he demands that he stay away from his mother. When he returns home with the sweater, he questions his mother about it and Jill explains what had happened.
That still doesn’t stop the spoilt brät from blabbering and whining like a little girl. Jill strives to reason with him and get him to calm down, all to no avail. The next day after he returns from school, Jill assures him that she could never break his trust because he’s the most important person in her life.
