Adele’s Life Is Made Miserable; Carrie & Erika Discover Her True Identity. Rosemary Swindles Agatha For The Paraiso Ledger.
Erika and Carrie went to the police station to support Debbie. They arrived as Adele was taking her mugshot pictures and her name Adele Magtibay was written on the board. They therefore got to find out that Celia was Adele, their surrogate mother. Debbie accused Adele of hurting her and trying to get close to them to ask for money. Adele told them that it was not true since she never cared about their money and what happened with Debbie was only an accident.
Agatha went to the station too and was skeptical about going in but she eventually did. Debbie asked Agatha to tell her sisters what Adele had done to her before so that they would not believe her. Agatha said they wouldn’t believe her anyway. Adele tried to tell Erika and Carrie that she was telling the truth but Carrie ended the discussion and said that they were there to support Debbie. Adele was therefore put in jail.
When Pam went to visit Agatha at her mansion, Agatha gave her money to help pay for Adele’s bail. Pam teased her because she could not hide that she was worried about Adele. Agatha said she was doing it to pay Adele back for paying her bail before so that she would not owe her anything. Debbie talked to Erika and Carrie about Adele and said that she could not be trusted. She therefore asked them to stop meeting with her because she might be trying to win their trust in order to get money from them.
Agatha got a document from Rosemary saying that she would inherit 70% of her wealth while Debbie, Erika and Carrie would share the other 30%. She was delighted to be included in Rosemary’s will so she gave the Paraiso ledger to Rosemary.Samuel’s mother left for her trip abroad and asked Samuel to take care of his grandmother. Samuel found Vida going through Manuel’s things hoping to find something that would help her prove that he did not intend on k!lling himself.
She told Samuel that she never believed the autopsy report that said Manuel committed sùiçide and less so now after she found the cruise tickets. Samuel tried to convince her otherwise but Vida refused to give up on her search. She later remembered that Manuel mentioned a business proposal that Rosemary had mentioned.
The following morning during breakfast, Erika asked Carrie to go with her to see Adele because she wanted to know what really happened to her. Andrea told them that Debbie would not like it but Erika asked her not to say anything. Agatha met up with her friends to celebrate her inheritance but a student who lived at Dante’s place told her that the document was fake.
There were no witnesses to verify it and the document was not notarized so the document could not be used to claim an inheritance.Agatha went to confront Rosemary for tricking her since they already had a deal. Rosemary told Agatha that it was before she handed over the ledger. She told Agatha that she could not outsmart her and kicked her out of the room.
Agent Galvez was reprimanded by his superior for investigating Congressman Vargas’s case behind his back. He was asked to report before doing anything. Galvez denied having gotten any information during his investigation and hid the flash drive that he got from Erika. When Erika and Carrie went to the station, the officer in charge told them that Adele had been released on bail.
They went to see her at Dante’s place and they got to meet Ligaya. Adele explained to them that she had taken Rosemary’s money to help pay for her father’s surgery. She however ran away because she could not bear to give up her children. Carrie asked her how Erika ended up lost in a dumpster.
Ligaya explained that she had taken Erika with her to the market, where she got kidñappéd. She cried as she said it was her fault that Agatha had a hard life. Erika said it was okay since they were all victims and asked Ligaya not to blame herself.
As they were leaving, Carrie told Erika that it was wrong of Adele to have taken them from her parents.
Erika however said that she understood what Adele did because she too was a mother.
Ligaya followed them and begged them to talk to Debbie so that she could withdraw Adele’s case.
Debbie confronted Agatha for blackmailing Rosemary with the Paraiso ledger. She asked if whatever they gave her was not enough for her to resort to blackmail.
Agatha however asked her what Paraiso was and Debbie told her not to get involved. Agatha therefore deduced that it was something illegal. Erika talked to Norman and Debbie when they got home and asked them to withdraw the case. Debbie felt hurt that Erika was taking Adele’s side and she explained that she was only feeling sorry for her.
Debbie asked if she didn’t feel sorry for her own mother because she was the one who was hurt and left in tears. Debbie talked to Rosemary since it seemed that Adele was getting closer to her children. Rosemary suggested that they get Agatha fired so that she would not have money to defend herself and they could easily send her to jail.
Rosemary promised to attend all the hearings to support Debbie and talk to Fabian about her schedule since she was needed at Paraiso. Agatha was outside eavesdropping and she heard them mention Paraiso. Erika spoke to Carrie about Adele since she empathized with her.
