Jill Goes On A Blind Date & Has A Fateful Encounter With A New Character. David Throws A Party To Celebrate His Return & Success; Jill Is Compelled To Make An Appearance.
Jill reflects on how David had made a mockery of her earlier and talked down on her clothing preferences. She decides to brighten up and dress like never before. Upon arriving at the hospital, Sandy can’t help but to sing her praises. Jill states that she merely wants to make a first impression on her date.
Nathalia congratulates David for making a great business presentation and Fred begins whining about where to get the funds to initiate the project. In the meantime, Jill arrives at the restaurant for her blind dinner date and she accidentally hits the side mirror of a young man who had parked his car there. The guy, Gabi, doesn’t hold it against her even as she apologizes.
Jill proceeds to go inside to join Sandy and his date and wait for hers, only to be surprised. She learns that the guy she had met earlier and hit his car is actually her date. When Gabi shows up, things tend to get pretty awkward really fast as he tries to get Jill to open up to him.
After a while, Sandy decides to abandon her friend, taking her date along with her. Jill is stuck with Gabi and though initially she feels uncomfortable, she begins to warm up to him. Gabi shares his life story and Jill does the same, though she doesn’t give too much details.
The next morning at work, Sandy tries to convince Jill to go on another double date but she’s reluctant to oblige. At home, Jill receives an enveloped letter which turns out to be an invitation from David to Gio for a housewarming party. Gio sees it but won’t go. Jill says that he shouldn’t turn down the invitation just because of her and Gio states that he really doesn’t want to go.
Later at work, Sandy shows Jill one of the party invitation cards and they discuss David and how he had risen from rags to riches in a short period of time. A moment later, David calls Jill on the phone to lash out at her on account of how their son had refused to attend his housewarming party.
He accuses her of influencing him to do that and Jill gives him a piece of her mind. At home, Jill has dinner with Gio and urges him to go to his father’s party if he wants to. Gio eventually decides to go alongside Carol and Charlie. David is delighted when he sees his son at the housewarming party.
Later that night, Jill receives a surprise visit from Gabi and she reluctantly allows him to stay. Some time later as the housewarming party drags on, Carol calls Jill to tell her that she can’t bring her son home because her husband had gotten himself drunk. Jill decides to head over there to pick up Gio and Gabi insists on tagging along.
They meet Mr. Lucero at the door and he painstakingly let’s them in. Gabi gets to meet David who takes pleasure in taunting Jill. A confrontation ensues. Jill is compelled to join the party. She plays along with the moves of David and Lexy and eventually breaks away to go in search of her son.
