Mariano Puts On A Spectacular Performance. Ellen Vents Out Her Anger On Him. Alyana Continues To Act Out, Making Cardo’s Life Even More Miserable.
The episode begins with Cardo making yet another futile attempt to reason with his irritating wife. He asks her to quit work since there’s really no need for her to work; their problems began when she started working for Lito. Alyana whines like the brät she is, saying that it’s not what she wants.
She then whines about how their lives have never been peaceful. Exasperated, Cardo asks if she’s blaming him for how their lives had turned out and she just stares at him dumbly like a mute bufføön. Cardo swallows his pride and apologizes again because he doesn’t want them to fight anymore.
Alyana brings up the 2-day site visit with Lito and Cardo reluctantly agrees to let her go, but only for one day. Alyana then turns away from her husband’s arms to reflect on the elegant dinner she had had with Lito that very night. This f00lish woman had enjoyed some spicy chicken bigger than her own empty head and even flirted with her “boss” in the process.
Presently, she acknowledges that her old feelings for the two-faced scumbag are starting to come back. Speaking of, Lito tells his lackeys that he would make sure Alyana doesn’t get away from him ever again. Lily commends Mariano for a job well done and she motivates him even more to project that same flair with the press conference.
A moment later, Mariano puts on another great performance in front of the media in regards to the new virus spreading in the country. Lily and Arturo are delighted. Diana and Teddy watch the show from home and conclude that Lily and Arturo have mastered the art of deception with the use of the president.
Diana and Teddy discuss their wild theories regarding their suspicions of the president; whether there are two of them or Oscar has really recovered and being controlled by Arturo and Lily. They soon reach out to Captain Salonga for help to confirm their suspicions.
In the meantime, Mariano basks in the comforts of his newfound luxurious life. Later, he sneaks into the kitchen to steal a bottle of alcoholic drink to enjoy. On his way back to his room, he runs into Ellen and begins to make advances at her.
Ellen lashes out at him for deceiving her as Mariano tries to ki$$ her, Lily comes upon the scene and stares in disbelief for a while. She dismisses Mariano and after promising Ellen that she would deal with him, Arturo also shows up and asks what’s up and Ellen quickly covers up what had happened.
Alyana the wife of the year wakes up to find herself alone in bed. She reaches under her pillow and pulls out the luxurious necklace Lito had given her last night. She reflects on that moment, as well as when Lito professed his feelings for her again.
Eventually, he tried to ki$$ her but she dodged him at the last minute. Presently, Alyana smiles. This woman knows no shame. Anyway, Lily has a talk with Arturo about the operation of the drug lab, courtesy of Renato. Alyana takes her sweet time to freshen up and prepare for work, all the while smiling nonstop like something.
She and Bubbles go to the dining area where Cardo and the other guys are having breakfast. Cardo disregards Bubbles’ childishness and when he asks Alyana why she’s dressed “that way” again, she actually gets offended and states that she needs it for work.
