Alyana Delights In Her Waywardness & Takes Cardo For A Føöl. Cardo Becomes Hopeless In His Quest To Reconcile With His Wife. Lily Motivates Mariano To Perfect His Acting Skills.
Delfin has a talk with some of the guys and he charges them not to get into any fight with Lito’s men, lest the two-faced scumbag could get upset and kick them out while they have nowhere else to go. In the kitchen, Mrs. Mauring informs Cardo about what had happened to his grandpa earlier and they agree that it would be best to take him for a checkup.
A moment later, Cardo asks Delfin about it and he trivializes it and insists that it’s nothing serious. Alyana gets ready for her late night “business meeting” dressed like she’s going for a fashion show and Bubbles begins with her foolish drama like always. Cardo waits in vain for his miserable wife to return home.
After meeting Lito, Alyana decides to head home with Bubbles who admires the stunning necklace she had been given. On the way, Alyana changes out of her black dress into the one she went to work with for obvious reasons. What a piece of work. Clarisse wallows in misery as she reflects on some memories with her family.
Upon arriving outside the house, Alyana hands over all the gifts she had received from Lito to Bubbles to keep for her. She then goes inside and when asked why she stayed out so late, she claims that they were very busy at the office. Cardo buys into her crap and ushers her to the table for dinner and when Bubbles joins them, Mauring asks about the bags.
Bubbles glances at Alyana, claiming that she had bought them from her coworkers. Anyway, Cardo has his miserable wife try some of the food he had prepared for her and this f0olish woman actually has the guts to say that the adobo is salty. Cardo has her try something else and she complains again about the taste.
Alyana abandons the rest of the food and leaves to go and get changed. Something wicked this way comes. Anyway, Cardo goes after her to reason with her and explain why he had gotten mad at her before but it’s like talking to a brick wall. Arturo is set to leave for the Palace and Ellen strives to convince him to take her along.
Hipolito talks to Lily on the phone about the drug lab, assuring her that it’s now operational. He then brings up his plan for expansion which worries Lily since it’s too soon. Hipolito declares that he can handle it. Later, Lily surprises Mariano by giving him the documents of his dream mansion as motivation for him to do his utmost best.
They head over to the kitchen for dinner where Mariano puts on a great performance to curtail further suspicion from Elizabeth and Salonga. Cardo broods by himself outside, going on about his plan to give his miserable, cheating wife a better life. Roxanne goes to help Clarisse clean up and when the little brat throws a fit, she puts her in her place.
Lily and Mariano run into one of the workers at the Palace and the latter puts on another show. In the meantime, Cardo joins his ridiculous wife in bed and apologizes profusely for whatever the hell he’s done wrong. As expected, this miserable woman gives him attitude, even more so when he still disapproves of her dressing to work.
Cardo bluntly asks if it’s part of her work to sell her body and Alyana whines, refusing to talk any further. Diana and Teddy receive an update from Salonga about the meeting with the health secretary. They begin to wonder how “the president” had recovered so quickly. Meanwhile, Mariano puts on a great performance once again in the office much to the delight of Lily and Arturo.
