Agatha Plots To Use Adele Against Carrie & Erika. Erika Witnesses Debbie’s Controlling Nature. Agatha Steals The Paraiso Notebook From Erika.
Debbie asked Norman why he said that Adele was out of the country. Norman apologized for supposedly getting the wrong information about Adele. Agatha said she was scared of Adele taking her away. Norman promised that she would protect them so that Adele would never destroy their family.
Greg and Fabian asked Rosemary to go to Paraiso to get the hard drive with the CCTV footage of the time when Congressman Vargas was k!lled. Rosemary was glad that they gave it to her and they also assured her that there were no copies of the footage.
Greg said that they wanted to accord her the respect she deserved as a partner at Paraiso so that they could continue working together. Greg asked Fabian why he had agreed to let Rosemary have her way. Fabian said that he just wanted to make it seem that way so that he could work on getting a replacement.
Erika went to speak to Tonyo about the ledger after her classes. They still were not able to decode what was written on it and Tonyo suggested that they hand it over to the police. Erika said they had to be careful about who they gave it to because they might be involved with Greg too. Tonyo took Erika home and they found Debbie waiting for her. Debbie was upset that Erika got home late.
After finding out that Adele was seeing her daughters, she was worried that Erika was meeting with her secretly. She therefore told Erika not to go anywhere without letting her know. Carrie came downstairs all dressed up because she was going out. Debbie said she was not going anywhere and demanded for Carrie to do as she asked because she was in her house.
Carrie said she would move out but Debbie said that they had to live together as a family. Carrie therefore told her not to be so controlling because she was already a grown woman.She then left, leaving both Debbie and Erika surprised at her actions.Erika stayed up to wait for Carrie to get back.
When she arrived, Erika said she now understood what Carrie meant by their mother being controlling. Carrie asked Erika if she would be able to handle it since she had agreed to do everything Debbie asked. Erika said she would find a balance. Carrie also asked Erika what she and Tonyo talked about. Erika told her that they had been looking through the ledger that Greg wanted.
Agatha joined them and asked what they were talking about but Erika said it was nothing important. Agatha went on to tell them that she liked Samuel and hoped that Carrie did not mind if they got together. Debbie told Rosemary that she found Adele and she had been trying to get to know her daughters.
Rosemary was not surprised that Norman had given them the wrong information. She therefore asked Debbie to look for Adele so that they could ask her what really happened with the children. Erika brought some tea to Rosemary and Rosemary took the chance to ask her if she found Ana Cruz. Erika said that they found Ana’s address but they did not find anything.
The following day, Debbie hired bodyguards for Erika, Carrie and Agatha. Carrie was upset about it since they were simply chaperons but decided to go along with it because there was nothing she could do. Agatha gladly accepted to have the bodyguard and told Debbie that she understood her need to protect them.
Later, Agatha visited Pam and told her that she would use Adele to make her sisters and Debbie fight so that she could become the favorite daughter. Samuel seemed moody at the hospital and Carrie explained to Erika that he always seemed so during that time of year because it was his father’s death anniversary. Erika therefore asked Rosemary to hold a memorial mass at the hospital Chapel.
Vida and Samuel were both delighted with the idea. After the mass, Vida talked to Erika and told her that she could never bring herself to believe that her son k!lled herself. Erika listened to her and comforted her. Agatha brought Rosemary some tea in an effort to win her over.
Rosemary was not in her office so Agatha took the chance to snoop around, seeing it as her future office. When Rosemary came back, she hid under her desk and overheard Rosemary’s phone call. She called the people at Paraiso to tell them that Erika did not have the notebook and Rainier’s suspicion was wrong.
Lucio Gomez, the agent assigned to Congressman Vargas’ case, found out that Sancho (the syndicate leader accused of kidñäpping Erika) was under Vargas’ payroll. He concluded that Vargas’ disappearance was linked to a syndicate and after going through Sancho’s case, he found Erika’s name. He therefore met with her and Tonyo to ask if she knew anything about the congressman.
Erika was wary of the agent so she decided not to tell him anything.Juancho found out about the agent’s meeting with Erika. He bribed Lucio’s superior to have him transferred so that he would no longer investigate Vargas’ case. A new agent came to take over his place and asked to study the files.
After Agatha heard what Rosemary said, she looked into Erika’s bag when Erika went to the bathroom. She found the notebook and took it with her. Tonyo convinced Erika to talk to Lucio and tell him the truth about the ledger. Juancho went there as well as Rainier’s men to find out what was going on. Erika was ready to give the notebook to Lucio but she did not find it in her bag.
Meanwhile, Agatha went to Rosemary’s room and Rosemary asked what she needed. Agatha said she did not need anything but Rosemary needed something from her.
