Cardo Is Weighed Down By His Wife’s Fo0lishness. Lito Continues To Use Alyana As His Puppet. Hipolito Closes A Huge Deal. Ellen Makes The Shocking Discovery About Mariano & Oscar.
Ellen rants annoyingly about how Elizabeth had ruined her dress. Arturo tries to reason with her and when he asks why she’s so fond of the residential wing of the Palace, Ellen comes up with a lie to cover her tracks. Arturo then sends his secretary to go and buy a new dress for his wife to change into.
In the meantime, Elizabeth laments over her ordeal at the hands of Mrs. Padua even as Ambo and Captain Salonga try to calm her down. Cardo talks to Macoy about his falling out with his wife and he plans to follow Ramil’s advice.
Lito takes Alyana and the others to the venue for the meeting with the investors. He begins blabbering, saying that they really need to win the investors over for the project to start. Alyana is nervous about this and the two-faced scumbag takes her hand, assuring her that they can do anything as long as they’re together. Whatever the hell that means.
Macoy helps out Cardo with work at the stables, all the while discussing how hard women are to understand. He reveals his dream of going to study in Manila. A flashback shows how he had stolen his boss’ money on one occasion. Lito introduces Alyana to the investors as the project manager for the business venture.
In no time, Alyana begins to make her presentation and the investors stare at her with apparent interest, not with good intentions though. Some might have undressed her with their eyes already. Anyway, Macoy continues his talk with our favorite hero, telling him that he would be his ally in future in fighting crime when he also becomes a police officer.
Back to the business meeting, Alyana answers the questions of the investors and she begins to get uncomfortable when she notices how they’re staring at her. Eventually, they agree to the deal, making her and Lito glad. Lily pays her beloved imprisoned husband a visit to gloat and taunt him with her evil schemes with the use of his body double.
Oscar pretends to be dead to the world but that doesn’t stop his sweet wife from having the doctor sedate him again. Alyana joins Bubbles and the others outside to celebrate the win. Lito then brings the investors along to take them on a tour of his properties. When they’re taken to another part, one of them in particular continues to ogle Alyana who gets uncomfortable again.
In the meantime, Hipolito discusses business with Mr. Calavera and he gives him a sample of the drugs to taste, of which he’s impressed with the quality. They come to a mutual agreement. After the guy leaves, Jacob tells Hipolito that the deal could be another potential risk like Juan. Renato urges him to relax. He says they’ll take every necessary precaution.
Alyana is downcast on account of the incident with the investors and Bubbles foolishly tells her to be glad that she was able to use her looks and charms to close such a huge deal. Talk about selling one’s body the modern way. Mariano steals his way into the room Oscar is confined in, supposedly to check up on him.
He finds Lily and Arturo there and they scold him and tell him to go back to his room. Mariano refuses to budge though. Lito the two-faced scumbag is delighted to have been able to use Alyana successfully. He calls her into his office to congratulate her for making their business meeting a successful one. Alyana smiles sheepishly like the idîøt she’s turning out to be, if she wasn’t already.
Lito surprises her with some shopping bags he had gotten for her and I bet they contain even more provocative clothes for her to wear so he and other men can continue to undress her in their minds. Meanwhile, Ellen tracks down her husband’s whereabouts and she’s shocked to see both Oscar and Mariano. Mariano averts his eyes in shame. The episode concludes as Lily stares at Arturo in absolute dismay.
