Lexy Has An Unfortunate Encounter With Jill, Leading Up To A Shocking Discovery. David Plays Dirty As He Strives To Reconcile With His Gio At Jill’s Expense.
Jill talks to attorney Dante on the phone and he tells her that he’s found another doctor for the psych evaluation for the annulment. Dante assures her that the person doesn’t have any connection to David this time. Gio arrives home and he’s downcast to hear of his mother’s plans for the annulment.
Later, Jill goes on a medical mission in the province. Lexy tries to convince David to bring his son over for dinner soon. A moment later, David goes to talk to Gio in school to explain his situation with his mother and Lexy. He claims the things that happened weren’t deliberate and Gio silences him by asking why he had cheated on his mother then.
In no time, Jill shows up and bumps into David. After a few exchanges of words, David declares that he’s taking his son out to dinner. Jill reluctantly gives Gio the go-ahead. Later, David is appalled to learn that Jill had accused him of psychological incapacity as grounds for the annulment.
After he goes to confront her, he consults with his lawyer the best way to handle the situation. Jill runs into Lexy at the supermarket and Lexy actually feigns concern for her: she tries to convince Jill to drop the annulment, leave Baguio and go and start over with her son somewhere else.
Jill indulges her and reminds her that David could cheat on her as well. Without warning, Lexy starts bleeding from you-know-where and Jill resolves to attend to her before having her taken to the hospital.Jill then has the Luceros informed and David as well. Fred and Nathalia go to see their daughter and they’re shocked to find out that she’s still pregnant.
David shows up and Fred begins to lash out at him. Later, he actually goes to confront Jill and he accuses her of causing Lexy’s bleeding. Another round of ridiculous arguments ensues. Meanwhile, Fred decides not to turn his back on his daughter any longer in spite of her insistence to be with David.
He will acknowledge her baby but not “that David” who isn’t a good man as he says. Lexy won’t break up with him though. Following a futile attempt to get a space to rent to open her own clinic, Jill goes back home to find Gio playing with Minx. She’s surprised to learn of David’s terrible business situation.
Jill and her lawyer wait for David to show up for the annulment discussion. Ironically, David actually shows but doesn’t let himself be seen: he just lingers at the door and leaves after observing for a while. Later, Jill goes to confront him and he whines about how he doesn’t want to end their marriage because he can’t afford the annulment.
Jill resumes with her search for a vacant office space and fortunately, she comes across a former devoted patient of hers who gladly agrees to sell to her at a huge discount. Later that night, she comes home to find that David had bought some rabbits for Gio as pets in spite of the rules they had set in the house that pets aren’t allowed.
Jill reminds her son of this but that falls on deaf ears amidst the excitement. Jill then calls David on the phone to question him, asking if he’s decided to let another animal take his place. David says he guesses so but agrees to give her a heads-up next time. The episode concludes as Lexy observes silently.
