Carrie Struggles To Deal With Her Insecurities. Agatha Tries To Manipulate Rosemary & Faces Off With Erika; Erika Has An Encounter With Adele.
Agatha and Erika held a meeting with Norman and the PR team at the hospital to get coaching about their press conference. Agatha was eager to have the cameras on her but Erika said that she did not like to be in the spotlight. She asked that they point her camera at Agatha but Agatha took it to mean that she liked to hog the spotlight.
Erika said she did not mean it that way and apologized to Agatha. They were waiting for Debbie and Carrie to join them. Debbie looked for Carrie to join them in the meeting but Carrie refused to go since it was not about her. The coaching was for Agatha and Erika and Carrie told Debbie that they did not need her support because they had everyone else’s. She said that she had a patient to see but instead went to see Tonyo at the new restaurant where he was working.
Carrie told Tonyo about the issues she was having with her sisters and feeling like she was no longer part of the family. She did not know he was a chef and Tonyo tried to show how to knead flour dough to help her to ease her mind. He was standing too close and Carrie felt uneasy about it so she ran off, saying she had to go back to work.
Rosemary went to a meeting at Paraiso with Fabian, Greg and the other associates at Paraiso. They were there to ease their associates mind about Congressman Vargas’s betrayal. Greg pointed out that Rosemary was the one who introduced Vargas to the team.
Rosemary was not happy about taking the blame because Vargas helped them smuggle the surrogate children out of the airport where he had jurisdiction. The associates were not happy that the ledger was still missing but Fabian assured them that he was on top of it.He reasoned that the person who stole it would not be able to understand what was written either.
After the meeting, Rosemary told Fabian and Greg not to embarrass her again in front of their partners because without her, there would be no Paraiso. Agatha went to see Rosemary at her office to ask her if she had any advice about the way she should answer questions at the press conference.
She was trying to warm up to her and win her over but Rosemary did not buy it. She told Agatha that she already had her investigated and knew about her criminal record, her fraud case and the lies she told about Adele not taking care of her. She criticized her for not being as well behaved as Carrie and warned her not to do anything that would destroy the Bermudez name.
Agatha went to blow off some steam at the make up shop where Pam was working.She saw her boss; the one who had sent her to jail with his wife and went to get her revenge. She told the wife that she was her husband’s girlfriend and he usually took her out on vacation. The woman got mad and Agatha was glad to finally get her revenge.
Erika went to see Tonyo and had a meal at the new restaurant. Rainier and his partner were watching them from outside and they figured that Tonyo already found out since he was no longer looking for it. As Tonyo and Erika were leaving, a man stole her handbag but Tonyo went after him. He caught up with him and managed to retrieve Erika’s bag.
Juancho had paid the man to steal Erika’s bag, hoping to get the ledger but was disappointed when the man came back empty handed.
When Agatha arrived home, she asked Mimi, Carrie’s personal maid to draw her a bath. Mimi said that her room did not have a bath tub so Erika told her to draw one in her room.
Agatha was heading upstairs when she tripped over Jolo’s toys and she got mad. She went to scold Jolo but Erika arrived home. She told Agatha never to hurt her son again or she would have to deal with her. Agatha did not like getting told off by Erika and she swore to Andrea that she would confront her if she threatened her again.
The following day at work, Erika found a rose on her desk with a note saying ‘see you at the cafeteria’. She thought it was from Samuel and rushed there to see him. Samuel went to greet her when he saw her but Rainier came with his food tray too and joined Erika. Samuel left the two of them and Rainier asked Erika if she got his note.
He said that he really liked her and wanted to spend some time with her. Meanwhile, Adele decided to go to the hospital to see her daughters. She got a bus to Manila and arrived in the evening. Erika, Agatha and Carrie were all in the elevator heading out. Erika said she was going to see someone.
She and Agatha seemed to be at odds with each other but they would not tell Carrie what was wrong. When they got to the ground floor, Carrie and Agatha walked out. Erika bumped into Adele and her things fell down. They both bent down to pick them up and Adele was surprised to see Erika. She looked at her with a fond look in her eyes, leaving Erika puzzled.
