David’s Life Takes A Turn For The Worst. Jill Is Reinstated, Hellbent On The Annulment. David Decides To Play Dirty Following The Humiliation He Had Suffered.
The episode begins with Nathalia criticizing Jill for how she had revealed the terrible truth about her daughter, thereby provoking Fred to kick her out of the house and the company. Jill says Lexy deserved everything she got. When Nathalia begins to talk more crap, Jill puts her in her place and walks out on her.
Upon returning to the office, David rips apart the materials for the project with the Luceros. After he storms out, the workers begin asking what the matter is and Minx, David’s equally miserable younger brother, reveals his brother’s affair scandal and actually hails him. Grace scolds him and swears everyone in the room to secrecy.
In the meantime, Lexy goes to see his father and she makes a pretty pathetic attempt to get him to talk to her.David finds Charlie with Carol at a bar and he angrily confronts him and punches him for going to bed with his wife. Amidst the commotion, he declares that Charlie is fired.
Charlie gloats and taunts David, saying that he can’t fire him because he’s already lost everything. He then punches him to settle the score. Later that night, David goes to the Illustre residence to talk to his son in his drunken state but Jill doesn’t let him in. The next morning at the office, David throws a fit when he catches his staff gossiping about his affair and the fate of the company.
After Jill meets with her lawyer to discuss the annulment, she’s called over to the hospital and is told that her suspension is lifted and she can resume her position with compensation pay. Later, David suddenly shows up to confront her about the annulment. Jill puts him in his place; she makes a scene, lashing out at David and saying that all his possessions were bought with her own money, even the clothes he’s wearing.
She then snatches his car key and goes to throw it away outside. While Jill returns home with her son, Sandy hangs out with David elsewhere and strives to reason with him. The next morning, David shows up at the house uninvited to take Gio to basketball practice at school. Jill gets in his way and insists on taking him instead.
Eventually, David lingers outside the school until it’s closing time. He pulls a fast one on Jill by picking up their son from school without letting her know. David and Gio have dinner somewhere. Jill calls Gio’s phone and David shamelessly tells him not to answer. He brings Gio home late that night and Jill gives him a piece of her mind.
An exchange of words ensues between the estranged couple. The next day, Jill goes to see the assigned doctor for the psych evaluation for the annulment. When she recognizes the guy as a classmate and friend of David’s, she realizes that David had connived with him to get damaging information he could use against her.
After putting the doctor in his place, she notifies attorney Dante about his connection to David and the attorney promises to handle the matter. Later, Jill confronts David and taunts him with the failure of his plot of sabotage. She hangs out with Sandy who tries in vain to convince her to return to work at the hospital.
