Jill Faces Off With Carol. Gio Confronts His Father Over His Betrayal. Marina Makes A Scene. Jill Connives With Mr. Lucero To Sabotage David.
Jill goes to pay Carol and Charlie a visit at their house and in an interesting turn of events, she taunts Carol with what she and her husband had done. Carol says she already knows of Charlie’s one night stands and she’s fine with it as long as it’s just $ex.
She then lashes out at Jill for betraying her when she was supposed to be her friend. Jill makes mockery of that as she criticizes Carol for keeping her husband’s affair a secret from her and trolling her on social media.
Carol acknowledges this and justifies her actions. An exchange of unfriendly words ensues between both women, with Carol stating that Jill can never destroy her marriage and that she deserved what happened to her. Jill merely says that she had just come to set things straight.
The embittered Mr. Lucero decides to cancel every single appointment with David so that he wouldn’t benefit from his business after what he had done to his daughter. Natalia worries over how their daughter would cope after cutting off his financial support and Fred states that Lexy had already chosen “that bästârd” over them.
Gio returns from school to find his mother seated dejectedly and the house in disorder. Realizing that she had not settled her problem with his dad, Gio insists on going to talk to him. Jill then agrees to drive him to Lexy’s place so he can talk to his father.
Speaking of, David is consoling his mistress over her separation from her parents when a knock sounds on the door. Once they answer, they find Gio standing there and when he bluntly asks if they’re in a relationship, David shamelessly claims that they’re just friends. Gio won’t be fooled though.
At the office, David is actually surprised to find out that the Luceros had cancelled their business partnership with him.Jill tells her son of her decision to end her marriage with David because all of her attempts to salvage the situation had gone to waste. Gio is deeply affected by this and ends up breaking down when he reaches home.
Nanny Maggie pays Lexy a visit to bring her some stuff she needs. They talk about her falling out with her parents and Maggie consoles Lexy. In the meantime, Jill has David’s stuff packed into various boxes and the shameless man goes to pick them up and drops them at his mother’s place.
When Marina asks what the problem is, David tells her that his wife had discovered his affair and kicked him out of the house. Speaking of, Jill hangs out with Sandy and discusses her plan to move on with her son and push through with the annulment. Upon arriving home, she finds her mother-in-law waiting for her.
Marina actually criticizes Jill and accuses her of destroying her own family by breaking off her relationship with her husband. Jill points out that it was her miserable son who had gotten someone else pregnant and ruined their family. When the shameless old woman talks some more nonsense, she puts her in her place.
Meanwhile, Gio hangs out with Max and Mika and he talks to them about his parents’ apparent separation. They sympathize with him, with Mika recounting her very own ordeal and asking who he would choose to stay with. David is appalled with how Mr. Lucero had taken him out of the project.
When he confronts him, Fred declares that he’s buying him out because he had ruined his daughter’s life. David protests and refuses to accept this so Fred dares him to fight him and he would make his life completely miserable. After David leaves, Jill suddenly shows up and per their agreement, Mr. Lucero urges her to leave Lexy out of her plans against David.
