Mariano Makes A Move On Arturo’s Wife. Diana Encounters Trouble In Town But Escapes With Her Life. Lito Fools Cardo & The Group Completely. Ellen Reacts. Flora Gets Wary.
Lily talks to Arturo about her plans to become president of the country. When he brings up his worries of how Juan could cause them problems, she taunts him with his inability to find Cardo and rescue his daughter.
Ellen makes her appearance and before leaving, Lily charges her to knock before barging into the office. Ellen laments over how Lily had insulted her husband earlier and Arturo cautions her to let the matter go since they really need her. Arturo strives in vain to convince her to go back home.
After going to get some supplies, Diana has an encounter with some scumbag who sneers at her from his car. As soon as Elizabeth and Ambo leave the kitchen, Mariano who had been spying all along sneaks in and gets away with a bottle of alcohol. Meanwhile, Diana makes a run for it as the goon pursues her.
A brief guñfight ensues, with the goon eventually blindsiding Diana and taking her by surprise. The scumbag makes a pathetic blunder and Diana capitalizes on it. Against better judgement, she doesn’t finish him off for good when she gets the chance but merely flees instead. Meanwhile, Cardo and the team stay on high alert in their positions.
The two-faced scumbag known as Lito shows up with his men and our favorite hero almost gives him a heart attack when he opens the door by greeting him with his güñ. Diana returns to the hideout and informs the Arevalo couple of her encounter with Arturo’s lackeys. Teddy notes that they have to find a new place to hide.
In the meantime, the goon regroups with a lackey of his and he plans to neutralize Diana in their next encounter so he can be able to get to the Arevalos.
Lito manages to convince everyone that they’re safe because he’s already dealt with the situation. Cardo and the group buy into his crap and even have him join them for dinner.
Mariano runs into Ellen and he takes her by surprise by processing his feelings for her. Elizabeth and Ambo talk about the sudden change in the president. They’re inclined to believe that he might be suffering from some kind of memory loss. Mariano laments over how Lily has been keeping him prisoner.
He says she might have the face of an angel but she’s a she-demon in human form. Anyway,
Oscar strives to fight off the effects of the sedatives so he can always be aware of what his beloved wife is up to. Lily confronts Arturo about his wife’s presence at the Palace and he assures her that they won’t have any problem with her.
Ellen strongly considers giving the president a chance. She wanders into the kitchen and when Elizabeth asks who she is, she makes her introduction and begins to throw her weight around. A moment later, Ellen runs into Mariano again and she’s taken into his room to talk.
This time, she flirts with the president and makes him believe that she also likes him. While Roxanne and Victor deliberate on their safety at the hideout, Bubbles and Mauring continue their foolish, unending talk of praises and admiration for Lito the two-faced scumbag. And of course Alyana indulges them in their folly since she’s basically Lito’s ambassador.
Anyway, Lily goes to check up on her most prized asset (Oscar) and she’s delighted to find that the drugs haven’t had any adverse effects on him. Diana contacts a comrade of hers to request for some weâpøns and vehicles. Salvador brings the food order from his boss and the guys get all excited and appreciative.
Lito states that it’s his way of thanking them for helping him out with his work, especially Alyana. Alyana stares at him fondly like a pathetic lost puppy without an owner. Meanwhile, Grandma Flora has a talk with Yolly where she expresses her worries of how Alyana’s childhood friend could betray Cardo and the group and report them to the authorities.
