Tonyo Encounters Juancho & His Men. Once Released From Jail, Agatha Causes Trouble For Erika, Causing Conflict Between Her & Carrie. Carrie Makes A Shocking Discovery.
The episode begins with Tonyo getting Laura’s things from her apartment. The landlady said that she gathered the stuff because Laura disappeared and she needed to rent out the place. There was a bag and a key, which Tonyo put in his pocket. As Tonyo was leaving, he tried to call Erika but she did not answer. He called Bruce instead and he said that Erika was at work.
Tonyo asked that he tell her that he already got Anna’s things from her apartment. Juancho and his men were waiting to get the things from him and one approached him with a güñ. Tonyo gave up his and Laura’s bag but fought back. He managed to disarm the guy but Juancho rode up in his motorcycle and took the bags.
When he went through them though, there was only clothes and he got reprimanded by Greg for failing to get the notebook yet again. Pam begged for money from her co-workers at the mall to get Agatha’s bail. She asked one of them who had just been fired recently (because of Agatha) and the lady refused to contribute.
She said that Agatha was the reason why she lost her job and it served her right that their manager framed her for stealing. Pam had not told her anything so she realized that the lady had seen what happened to Agatha. They were therefore able to make the manager drop his charges against Agatha.
When Agatha was released, she asked Pam for Carrie’s credit card and went to the mall. She said that she needed to treat herself after what she went through in jail. Pam complained about it and Agatha told her to leave her alone. After she left, Agatha went through numerous stores splurging on new clothes, shoes and perfume.
Samuel was heading to a meeting with Vida and he ran into Carrie in the hallway. She asked to walk with him since they were going the same way and when they arrived, they saw Erika talking to Vida. Carrie commented on how she had managed to win everyone over including Rosemary and Samuel’s grandmother.
Samuel took her to the rooftop so they could talk and Carrie said she felt as if her parents no longer cared about her since they all fussed over Erika. Samuel however told her that løve never went away but it changed to a different kind. He assured her that her parents would always løve her.
Carrie got a message from her bank saying that over 200,000 had been charged to her credit card but she was not the one who used it. She asked for details of the stores where the card was charged and they told her that the face on the card matched the person who used it.
Carrie went to ask Erika about it because she had concluded that Erika was the one who did. Erika said she never used Carrie’s card because she already had hers. She said that she went to the cafeteria for lunch and asked Andrea to confirm it but Andrea said she never knew where Erika went.
Carrie could not be convinced that Erika did not steal her credit card because she did not know what kind of a person she was. She left and Erika was left in tears. When Erika went to get something to eat at the Cafeteria, Samuel asked to sit with her. Erika looked upset so Samuel asked her why. She said that she fought with Carrie but did not want to talk about it.
She went on to ask Samuel what happened to his father and he told her that Manuel committed sùiçide because of depression. Juancho took pictures of Congressman Vargas, an investor at Paraiso receiving money. He took the pictures to Greg and said that the Congressman was paying their men.
They concluded that he was the one after the ledger and they tørtüred him to say the truth. The Congressman said he was being set up but Greg did not believe him and shot him instead. Erika attended to an investor who had been looking to invest in the hospital. He was tired of waiting for Rosemary at the hospital so Erika showed him around.
She was able to charm him and Rosemary was delighted when he agreed to invest at the hospital. She bought pasta for everyone and Erika asked Carrie to join them but she refused.Erika tried to speak to Carrie again and clarify that she never stole the card.Carrie however said that the person who used it looked like her and Erika was the only one.
She added that her trust was hard to earn back once a person broke it. Agatha took Dante, Pam and their other friends out for a meal at an expensive restaurant. They ordered a lot of food but when they were asked to pay, Agatha’s card got declined. The manager held them at the restaurant to pay back the money and Pam was upset that Agatha had to make them go through such embarrassment.
Agatha said she would get the money from an ATM but Pam said she would be the one to do it because Agatha might run off and leave her behind. The manager was called to attend to a customer and Agatha sneaked out using the back door.
Carrie got the call that the card was used again at a restaurant and she was able to confirm that it was not Erika since she was standing right in front of her. She went to the restaurant to see who it was but Agatha had already left. The manager was shocked to see her and asked if she had a twin. Carrie decided to pay for the food but asked the manager for a favor.
When Pam came back, the manager showed her to Carrie and Carrie followed her to Dante’s neighborhood. She was able to see Agatha and realized that there was yet another sister! She went home to ponder on it, worried that there was another person she had to share her parents’ affection with.
