David Desperately Pursues Lexy.
Enzo Causes More Trouble For Jill. Diane Is Caught In A Dilemma. Jill Has An Encounter With Mrs. Lucero.
David arrives home late to find his wife sitting by herself in the living room. When Jill asks why he hadn’t shown up to the dinner he had planned, he claims that he had a lot of work to deal with at the office. The next day, Diane hangs out with Lexy at the location of her yoga center and she converses with her about themselves.
Lexy gladly reveals how she had met up with David last night to settle things. Now she wants nothing to do with him anymore. A moment later, Diane goes to see Jill to inform her of her findings. David confronts Grace over what he had said to his wife when she had asked of his whereabouts before.
Mr. Lucero worries about the project because one of the marketing heads of the company had gotten into an accident. When Lexy shows up at the office for a visit, he decides to use her as a substitute. At home, Lexy refrains from answering dozens of phone calls from David.
Speaking of, David brings Jill some flowers and a gift for Gio to apologize and reconcile with them. Later, the Illustre couple attend a basketball game at Gio’s school to support him. Lexy makes a sudden appearance, taking David by surprise. After the game, David gets back into the school on the pretense of going to look for his missing phone.
He finds Lexy and strives to talk to her but she snubs him and runs into Jill on her way out. Jill then finds David in one of the seats in the stands and the scumbag puts on a show of having found his phone. Enzo harasses Diane and makes a quite pathetic attempt to make her get back together with him. Diane knees him in the balls to escape in her car.
David has a meeting with his staff about their presentation for the Lucero project. He’s disappointed when Lexy doesn’t show up in person but sends a representative instead. In no time, he goes to see her at the health center and makes a futile attempt to get her to reconcile with him. Jill is taken by surprise by an online expose Enzo had cooked up against her.
After talking to the scumbag on the phone, she reaches out to Grace and tries in vain to find out her husband’s whereabouts. When David later returns home, he covers up what he’s been up to. At the hospital, Jill is appalled when it is announced that Sandy would be taking over her position.
She proceeds to the office in search of her husband and Grace tells her that he has a business meeting at 2pm. David shows up at the office to see his wife after being alerted by Grace. Jill then goes to the school to pick up her son, only to find out that he had gotten into a scuffle with his best friend Max.
Later at the supermarket, she spots Natalia and nanny Maggie gossiping about her and after listening for a while, she approaches them to explain her side of the story and put them in their place. Natalia and Maggie lamely claim that they hadn’t been gossiping about her but were just having an innocent conversation. After Maggie leaves to go and get something, Natalia talks some more to save face.
She then brings up their dinner plan before and they both agree to push through with it, with Jill stating that both Lexy and David should also be in attendance because they have a lot to talk about. Jill then parts ways with Natalia and she abandons grocery shopping and hurries with her son out of the supermarket. Jill drives Gio to David’s office and the episode concludes as she hurries inside.
