Erika’s Suspicions Resurfaces After An Encounter With Greg. A Rift Builds Up Between Carrie & Erika. Rosemary Provides The Syndicate With A Lead On The Ledger. Agatha Remains In Jail.
Rosemary snooped around Erika’s room and when Jolo found her and asked what she was doing, she told him that she was hiding a gift for him and Jolo had to find it. She then told Jolo not to tell Erika about it because he would lose the game.Tonyo picked up Erika from night school and she told him that she was having a hard time because her professor spoke fast.
She was worried about disappointing her family but Tonyo said she would eventually catch up. Erika invited Tonyo out for a meal and took him to Rosemary’s favorite restaurant. Tonyo was worried that they might have to clean dishes to pay for the food but Erika asked him not to worry because she had a credit card.
As they were having dinner, Greg arrived at the restaurant too and Erika recognized him. She was anxious about seeing him and even thought that he had been following her. Greg pretended not to know her so Tonyo told Erika not to worry because he did not seem to recognize her.
Erika told Tonyo that she was having doubts about the man the police caught before and Tonyo suggested she tell her father about it. The following day at work, Rainier asked Erika to go out for lunch with him. Erika said she could not go because she already had plans with Norman. Rainier found out from the other staff that they had gone to the city jail.
Erika and Norman went to jail to ask Sancho some questions. Erika wanted to know why he followed her to Manila if he was the one who k!lled Chito, hence knew that she was not the one who did it. She also asked about the notebook and what was so important about it but Sancho refused to give her any answers.
Erika’s suspicions grew after meeting Chito and Norman asked her not to worry because they would eventually find out the truth in court. Erika however called Tonyo and told him that she wanted to keep investigating. She asked that they go to the address they found on Anna when they saw her at the mortuary. Tonyo said it would be dangerous so he said he would do it himself.
Fabian called Rosemary to Paraiso again after Rainier told him that Erika went to jail to question Juancho. They were not happy that Erika was looking into things and Rosemary assured them that she would handle it. Fabian gave Rosemary a day to come back with information and she did not take it well. She however agreed to give them what they needed within the time frame.
Greg was not comfortable because Erika had recognized him when they met at the restaurant. He said that there was a way of taking care of her without making Rosemary angry. Fabian however said they should let Rosemary do as she said. Greg was worried that Fabian trusted her too much and she might end up exposing them. Fabian told them that she had saved his life 15 years ago after he was shot and she never said anything.
They met again ten years later and he invested in her in-vitro fertilization business so he had reason to trust her. He was however ready to get back at her if she betrayed them.Erika passed by Vida’s house before going to work to apologize for making her sick. Vida thought Rosemary sent her but was pleased that Erika came on her own.
That evening, Rosemary praised Erika for what she did and criticized Carrie for failing to do so all those years.She said she was glad her relationship with Samuel was over because her relationship with Vida might have been affected. Carrie said she lost her appetite and went to sleep.
Later, both Erika and Rosemary could not sleep. Rosemary got Erika to talk about the notebook and she told her that the person who took it died. She also showed the address they got from her to Rosemary. Rosemary gave the information to Fabian and Greg sent Juancho to look for it. Rainier was upset that he did not get the assignment so he sent his men to find it first.
The next day, Erika was having lunch with Rainier at the hospital when Bruce called to say that Jolo had a fever. She wanted to go home but Debbie sent an ambulance instead and brought Jolo to the hospital. Samuel examined him and said he would be fine. He examined Erika too and confirmed that she too had a fever.
He was leaning in too closely at her and Carrie said that he should have used a thermometer since he was making Erika blush. Erika had to miss her classes so Tonyo brought notes from her classmates. Debbie and Norman took care of her and did not notice Erika was not home. She went out for a drink at the club where Tonyo worked and did not get a single call from Debbie.
When she got back home, she found her parents in Erika’s room. She was going to explain to Debbie why she was late but Debbie cut her short and told her to enjoy herself. She went on to fuss around Erika and Carrie left to go and sleep. Agatha’s lawyer told her that she might face 6 years in jail but promised to do everything to get her released.
Pam and Dante tried raising some money to bail her out but it was not enough. Adele called Pam to ask about Agatha and she assured her that Agatha was doing well. Dante was upset because they should have told her that Agatha was in jail. Tonyo went to Anna’s address on his day off. He showed a picture of her to a woman there who referred to her as Laura.
Tonyo lied about being her relative to know what happened to her. Erika recovered from her fever and told Carrie about how excited she was about returning to school. Carrie first ignored her but said she was glad that Erika was back to her charming self. She then dismissed her and the episode ended as she left to go attend to her patients.
