Erika Is Baptized & Kidñappéd. Juancho & Rainier Compete Against Each Other. Debbie Compels Rosemary To Ascertain Erika’s Freedom. Agatha Is Exposed.
Pam told Ligaya and Adele to go ahead to Baguio since she would be staying in Manila with her aunt. Adele suggested that they go to the hospital first but Ligaya asked her not to cause trouble so they left. Pam left to meet with Agatha and Dante and she mentioned that Adele wanted to go to a hospital. Agatha concluded that she could find her sister at a hospital.
Debbie and Norman prepared yet another surprise for Erika. They said that they had booked a slot in church and she was going to get baptized the next day. Erika was overjoyed and she called Tonyo so that he could join them. Rainier’s men went to Tonyo’s neighborhood to ask about him and the neighbors said he was not home.
They asked about Erika too and they were told that she already moved out.They wanted to raid Tonyo’s house but Rainier advised them against it because it would cause trouble. Instead, he asked them to follow Tonyo since he would lead them to Erika. Meanwhile, Juancho told his men to follow Rainier’s men.
He wanted Rainier to do all the work in finding Erika then he would be the one to take her. Ligaya called Agatha because she was not home like she had said she would be. Agatha said that she decided to stay in Tarlac with a friend who had given her a job. Adele wanted to get her but Ligaya asked her to let Agatha have some freedom.
The following morning, Rosemary asked Norman if it was necessary for them to get Erika baptized. Norman said it was better for Erika to have a new name because Solomon’s men were looking for her.Rosemary and Debbie were shocked to hear the name and asked Norman to explain. He told them that the people after Erika were Greg Solomon’s men.
Debbie and Rosemary were left arguing over the issue. Rosemary said that Fabian (Greg’s father) was not involved but Debbie did not believe it. She asked her to talk to Fabian so that they would stop going after Erika. When Tonyo left to go to the church, Rainier’s men followed him there. Juancho and his men arrived soon after and it was now a race between the two groups for who would catch her.
After the baptism, Erika and her family left the church and the syndicate men were ready to grab her. Rainier however saw Rosemary and recognized her as Fabian’s partner at Paraiso so he asked his men to fall back. He tried to call Juancho but he did not answer the call.
Juancho’s team continued to grab Erika and Norman and Tonyo went after them in their own car.Debbie was worried about Erika and she told Rosemary to tell Fabian to let go of Erika. Rosemary was skeptical but Debbie warned her that she would never forgive her if anything happened to Erika.
Rosemary therefore called Fabian and asked him to let Erika go because she was her granddaughter. The men threw Erika out on the side of the road and Norman and Tonyo picked her up. They brought Erika home and the police arrived to get a statement. They asked Erika to go to the station and identify the men they had caught.
At Paraiso, Greg reprimanded Juancho for refusing to take Rainier’s call and saving all of them the trouble they were now in.There was still the problem of Erika and the ledger so Fabian met with Rosemary. She said that she would be the one to take care of Erika and report back to them about the ledger.
Fabian and Greg paid their men to go to jail for abdüçting Erika and promised to send money to their families. They also paid Sancho, another syndicate leader who was buried in debt to say that he was the one behind the attäçk on Erika. The police told Erika and her family that all the men after her were now in jail.
Erika was not convinced that Sancho was the person behind it. A few days later, Rosemary had not reported back to Fabian so he called her to a meeting. He went there with Greg and Rainier and Rosemary told them that Erika did not have the ledger. Greg asked if she had questioned Erika or simply taken her word for it.
Fabian told Rosemary to find out who took the ledger instead or they would be forced to take the matter into their own hands. Rosemary told them to stay away from Erika and let her handle it. Erika was starting her first day at Bermudez hospital and she was worried about doing a good job.
Andrea assured Norman that he would take care of her. Agatha had collected the names of all the hospitals in Manila and she had been visiting them with Pam to see if her sister worked there. When she got to Bermudez hospital, Pam cried about being hungry so they stayed to have some dumplings by the side of the hospital.
Carrie saw them as she was driving in and thought Agatha was Erika. Ligaya called Agatha again to check in on her but heard Pam over the phone.
