Teddy identifies the bogus informant as one of them guñmen and the scumbag demands for all of them to get into the van. Without warning, Diana springs into action, expertly disarming the goons and giving them a good beating. Unfortunately, one of them gets their hands on Virgie while she’s escaping with Teddy, compelling Diana to stand down and take some beating of her own.
Teddy is held at güñpoint and roughed up by the other scumbag who tries in vain to make him give up the location of Cardo. After receiving an update from his men, Arturo goes to inform Lily and Hipolito about the capture of Diana and the Arevalo couple.
Renato asks him to k!ll Diana for him as payback for everything she did to him. Grandma Flora begins to get worked up when she fails to reach Teddy on the phone. In the meantime, Diana recovers and takes down the scumbag holding Virgie hostage, giving Teddy the chance to overpower the one holding him at güñpoint.
They then dash for the van to make a quick getaway. Unfortunately, Virgie gets shot in the back as they escape. Arturo throws a fit upon learning of the incompetence of his men. He makes a deal with Hipolito and Lily to work together for the rescue of his precious daughter and k!lling of our favorite hero.
Clarisse keeps at her game of pretense. She drops a glass cup and ends up cutting herself when she tries to pick it up. Earthworm comes upon the scene and he scolds her and charges her to be more careful. But leave it to Patrick to come to the defense of the little brat and treat her wound.
After pouring out his heart to her about his sob story, Clarisse indulges him and makes him believe that she actually cares about him. It turns out that Lito had actually planned with “the investor” to føöl Alyana and make her feel that she’s such a great business woman, you know, that her brain is still functioning properly.
The dumb Alyana who thinks she’s such a great negotiator happily goes to inform her husband that she would return home late today because they have another “business meeting” to attend. Lily asks Juan for an update of his search of Hipolito’s place and he lies that he hasn’t found anything noteworthy.
With some assistance from their allies in the Palace, Teddy and Diana have Whining Virgie treated by a doctor at their hideout. It’s quite unfortunate that this nagging woman didn’t die and spare us her nonstop rubbish whining, talk. Anyway, Lito arrives with his team at the location for his next supposed business meeting.
He uses Salvador to get rid of Bubbles so he can have Alyana to himself. He then takes her to a table to dine together. Remembering the food Cardo had prepared and packed for her, Alyana decides to have that instead of Lito’s food, only to find that the food had spilled inside her bag. Lito then takes advantage to have Cardo’s food thrown away.
Elizabeth is desperate to take action to save the president from Lily’s clutches but James and Edwin urge her not to rush things so they can plan their next move carefully. Jacob has a talk with Hipolito about their alliance with the First Lady, how they can do without her. Renato states that Lily is more useful to him alive than dead.
While Teddy talks to Grandma Flora on the phone and informs her of the recent happening, Lito tags along with Alyana and Bubbles as they head home. Everyone welcomes the two-faced scumbag and they have him join them at the dining table. Elizabeth snoops around near the room the president is confined in but she’s stopped by James just in time to save her from getting caught by Lily.
Meanwhile, Lito commends Alyana’s performance and takes everyone by surprise by offering her a higher position so she can manage his other businesses. Cardo lamely and ignorantly gives his consent and Alyana gladly accepts Lito’s offer, much to the delight of everyone.
