Jill Saves Jose & Confronts David Over His Infidelity, Ultimately Making A Shocking Discovery. David Prevents Lexy From Going Abroad. Jill Prepares For The Annulment.
The episode begins with Jill arriving at Jose’s house, taken by surprise with how the place is messed up. When she sees some pills lying around, she hurries in to find the miserable old man passed out.
Jill quickly calls Sandy to notify her about the matter at hand, and also to request for an ambulance . David is cuddling with his miserable mistress in bed when he receives a phone call from Sandy, telling him of how Dr. Jose had tried to commit sùiçide. David has to leave Lexy to hurry to the hospital to see his friend.
Jose had already been admitted by the time he gets to the hospital. Jill discards all his concerns and remains by “her father’s” side until the moment he finally remains consciousness. David is already gone by this time and when Jill urges Jose not to leave her too, he comes to realize what she’s been going through and counsels her on it.
Jill returns home, willing to forgive her husband and start over with him, only if he tells her the truth. She bluntly asks if he’s having an affair with another woman and David plays dumb and strongly denies it so shamelessly, much to Jill’s disbelief.
The next day, Carol helps her husband to get dressed for work, worried about what to do should Jill ever confront her about the secret they’ve been keeping for David. Charlie isn’t the least bit bothered. At the office, David blabbers to him about Jill’s suspicions, whining about how he has so much to deal with.
When he receives a phone call from Lexy, he informs her of the matter on ground and promises to make it up to her when she returns from her trip to the states. Meanwhile, Jill strives to talk Jose into going to a shelter to recover. Jill prepares dinner for her family, her mother-in-law inclusive who happens to notice the friction between her and her husband.
At the same time, Lexy also dines with her parents at home. As they eat, Natalia brings up how a friend of hers had partied excessively to the point of getting herself pregnant without being married. Fred confidently declares that such a thing wouldn’t happen to his princess Lexy.
Anyway, while David spars with Gio, Jill confronts her mother-in-law about her son’s Infidelity since she’s figured out that she already knows. Mother-in-law admits to it and urges her to let David know about the pregnancy. Without wasting time, Jill deliberately texts Sandy and asks her to notify David of Lexy’s plans.
She observes dumbly as David soon receives a phone call. He then comes over to announce that he would no longer be having dinner because he needs to take care of an issue at the office. Mother-in-law makes a pretty pathetic attempt to make Jill understand why her miserable son had done what he did.
She blabbers some more nonsense and Jill is taken by surprise to discover that the affair has been going on for more than two years and not three month. In the meantime, David has a talk with Lexy about their baby, with David reaffirming his promise to leave his wife for her. At the hospital, Dr. Jill talks to attorney Dante about his condition.
Eventually, she decides to schedule an appointment with him. Later that night, Jill returns home to find her miserable husband getting himself drunk stüpid and she merely spies on him. During breakfast the next morning, Jill makes it a point to throw jibes at David who doesn’t seem to be catching on. A moment later, she goes to see attorney Dante in his office regarding the annulment.
The lawyer notes that conjugal properties are usually split between couples 50/50 and since David is the one who handles all of the family’s finances, she needs to find out if he’s stashed away some of her money and assets or else, she and her son might be left with almost nothing. Jill declares that she wants all of her hard-earned money and her dignity back and Dante charges her to make sure that her husband doesn’t find out about the investigation.
