Fabian Introduces Rainier & Juancho To Paraiso. Erika Is Welcomed Into Carrie’s Family. Agatha Causes More Trouble For Her Mother; Adele Strives To Salvage The Situation.
Agatha sold the phone her mother bought for her to her friend Dante in order to save up the money she needed to go to Manila. When she went home, Adele told her about her enrollment but Agatha said that she was not going to school.Greg took Rainier and Juancho to Paraiso to learn about the syndicate business.
Fabian was eager to show his grandson their family business and explained everything that they did there. He told Rainier to make sure that they found Erika and the ledger because things would fall apart if she exposed what they did there. With the introduction to Paraiso, Fabian challenged Rainier and Juancho to do their best to prove which one of them was worthy to inherit the business.
Debbie prepared a special dinner to welcome Erika and Jolo to their house.As they were setting things up, Andrea asked Carrie if she felt threatened about having to share her inheritance with Erika. Carrie said that Erika was a part of her and it did not matter.
Erika came with Jolo and Bruce and Tonyo accompanied them as well. Debbie was especially excited because she got to meet her grandson. Jolo was happy too because he now had an aunt and grandparents when before, he only had his mother and uncle Bruce. During dinner, Rosemary asked Erika if she knew who Jolo’s father was.
Erika asked Bruce to take Jolo away so that she could talk to her family because she did not want to hide anything from them. She said that she knew him for a while and he never found out that she got pregnant so she had to raise him by herself.Erika recounted all kinds of jobs she did to take care of Jolo. She also told them that she worked as a bar dancer after Jolo was admitted in the ICU.
Rosemary and Andrea were appalled but Erika said she was not ashamed of it because she would do anything for her son. She added that she would understand if they wouldn’t accept her. Carrie said it was okay since she had to do whatever she could to survive. Norman and Debbie agreed and said they did not mind because it was now in the past.
Debbie talked to Rosemary and asked her not to berate Erika with questions because she was making her uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Samuel’s mother and grandmother talked about setting another date for his and Carrie’s wedding. Vida, the grandmother said it was okay because she did not want her grandson stuck in a løveless marriage.
Samuel’s mother asked her about their investment at Rosemary’s hospital and Vida said she did it to keep her son’s legacy alive since he was one of the hospital’s founders, as well as for her grandson.Agatha was arrested for fraud because she convinced people to invest in a pyramid scheme.
Adele had to pay her bail and pay back the money the others lost. Agatha was upset that Adele had so much money and should have given it to her instead. Adele was upset because Agatha was always asking for more money. Agatha said she needed it to get away from her because she was serious about moving to Manila.
Adele and Ligaya were shocked to hear about Agatha’s plans. Ligaya apologized to Adele because she was the one who raised Agatha. She felt guilty because Agatha turned out to be spoilt. Adele however said that it was not her fault. After dinner, Tonyo left while Erika and Carrie met up with Samuel to tell him everything.
Samuel understood why he was always confused since he was dealing with two people. He did not take it kindly that Carrie only told him now. He said that she should tell him about such things first as his fiancé. He walked out on both of them and Carrie followed to explain everything to him. When Carrie got home, she went to check in on Erika and Jolo who were preparing for bed.
They got to talk more about their family and Carrie said that Debbie was always overprotective of her because she was sickly as a child. Erika said that Debbie only wanted to take care of her which was better than having a mother who did not care at all. Rainier met with his men and told them to look for Tonyo because he would lead them to Erika.
Adele went to church to pray for her three children and asked for forgiveness because she was never able to løve Agatha wholeheartedly.
