Jill Is Distressed With The Complications Of Her Husband’s Betrayal. Lexy Contemplates Flying Abroad To Terminate Her Pregnancy. David Signs The Lucrative Deal With Mr. Lucero.
Natalia asks her husband why he had been so cold to David earlier and Fred merely says that he has a bad feeling about him. In the meantime, Lexy returns to the apartment and still seems shaken up over her pregnancy. David arrives home with the good news of his proposal being accepted by Lucero Builders.
He’s at the table with his family to celebrate his good fortune. After Jill indulges him and congratulates him, David receives a phone call and leaves, claiming that he has to attend to something at the office. It turns out that Lexy was the one who called him.
A moment later, David dines with Lexy at her place. When she asks if he’s willing to leave with her far away to build their life, he tells her that they shouldn’t be hasty because there’s some things he needs to deal with first. Lexy isn’t pleased to hear that. Jill hangs out with Diane at a bar and they talk about her situation.
Diane suggests that she should move on or fight for her husband only if she still løves him. Upon spotting attorney Dante, Jill excuses herself to go and say hello and she’s surprised to find that he’s actually a family lawyer who specializes in divorce cases. On phone, Lexy talks to her friend Justin about her situation and her plan to go to the US, presumably to abort the baby.
Later, she has breakfast with her parents and announces that she would be leaving to the US to relax a little because she’s bored. Though not all that enthused, Fred and Natalia reluctantly agree. Later, Fred has a talk with his wife about how their daughter seems to be bothered by something. Sandy informs Jill about Lexy’s plan to go to the US for an abortion.
She urges her not to interfere since there’s a higher possibility that David might never break up with Lexy once they have a baby together. At home, Jill is distressed with how things had turned out and she sobs as she reflects on the advice of both Sandy and Diane.
Carol calls Sandy on the phone to ask if Jill knows of the secret they’ve been keeping from her since she’s been sad and cold lately. Sandy lies through her teeth. With Lexy determined to push through with her decision, Sandy tells Jill that there’s only one person who can stop her. David of course.
Later, Jill arrives home to find her husband dressing up for the business presentation with Lucero Builders. She makes it a point to throw jibes at him while helping him to choose a better outfit. While Lexy is packing up some stuff, Natalia tries to get her to open up about what’s been bothering her.
Lexy merely assures her that she can handle it and would tell her about it when the time is right. The Alustre family arrive at the contract signing event organized by Lucero Builders. With greetings and formalities out of the way, David proceeds to officially join hands with Mr. Lucero.
Photos are taken after the contract signing and Jill and Lexy both put on a performance, with the former making note of the latter’s upcoming trip abroad. David is taken by surprise but plays it cool. Later that night, he sneaks out of the bedroom to go and call Lexy, unbeknownst to him that Jill is spying on him.
The next morning, David confronts Lexy and she throws him off with made up reasons for her trip. David makes it his mission to convince her not to leave him because she’s important to him and he can’t afford to lose her. Suddenly, Lexy ki$$es him and they begin making out on the bed as the episode concludes.
