Carrie’s Family Decide To Take In Erika After Learning Of Her Past. Norman Figures Out The Fate Of His Other Child. Determined To Steer Clear Of Norman, Adele Refrains From Going To Manila With Agatha.
Debbie walked over to Erika and she was puzzled by the resemblance between her and Carrie. Carrie introduced her as her twin sister, shocking Debbie and Rosemary. They called Norman over to the hotel room and Rosemary told Erika to be the one to open the door.
He walked in wondering what was happening and asked Erika, thinking she was Carrie. Carrie walked up to him and Norman too was shocked to see the two of them. Rosemary and Debbie were able to confirm that he also did not know that there were two of them.
Debbie wanted to know more about Erika but she said that she had to take her son home. She asked that they talk another time and left with Tonyo. After she left, Carrie told her parents that she already performed a DNA test and it was positive.Adele, Agatha and Ligaya went home after the birthday party.
Agatha told Adele that she was not happy about her throwing a party at such a cheap place because her rich friends would make fun of her. Her grandmother asked her not to berate Adele because she worked hard to organize the party. Greg had dinner with his wife since he was not able to with his work at the syndicate. Rainier came to tell him that the big boss was looking for him.
Rainier is Greg’s illegitimate son and Greg’s wife was not happy to see that her husband was in contact with him. She got mad left the restaurant, and Greg lashed out at Rainier for what he had done. The next morning, Debbie and Rosemary held a meeting with the other doctors to review Adele’s sonograph photo from the time she was pregnant.
The photo showed only one gestation sack, meaning she was pregnant with only one child.
The doctors said that the scanning equipment was not yet advanced so the image could not have been clear. Another doctor however said that the photo was taken too early into the pregnancy so the egg might not have split to form twins by then.
She cited a similar scenario that she had experienced with her patient so Debbie was able to confirm that Adele might have been pregnant with twins and Erika was her daughter too. Meanwhile, Norman went to see the man he had hired to ask him what happened to the other child.
The man said he left the baby somewhere after Norman said that he already had his daughter. Norman beat him up because he had thrown his child away like garbage. Adele gave Agatha the phone she had wanted for a long time as a present. Agatha gladly took it but refused to eat the breakfast that Adele had prepared.
Fabian, the head of the syndicate is Greg’s father and Rainier’s grandfather. He asked Greg to bring Rainier to Paraiso since he would inherit the family business but Greg preferred to bring in Juancho, a young man he had mentored and trusted more than Rainier. Fabian said that Rainier was his grandson and their own blood.
He however asked Greg to bring both Rainier and Juancho. After talking to the doctors, Carrie and Adele went to speak to Erika and Andrea asked to come along. They took Erika back to the house since it would be more comfortable to talk there. Erika told them that she grew up on the streets and was passed around in different families as a helper.
She said that she did not have a real name and wasn’t even registered. This made her afraid because if something happened, no one would look for her.Norman and Debbie were hurt to hear her story and they profusely apologized for not being there to take care of her. Debbie blamed Adele for what happened to Erika and vowed to make her pay.
Erika said it was not necessary since they could not undo the past and she was fine. They were happy to be reunited but Rosemary was still wary about Erika. She asked why Erika and Carrie had changed identities. Erika told them about the syndicate that was after her and Norman asked that she stay with them along with her son so that she would be safe.
Andrea was furious to hear that Erika would be staying at the house too and she would have to take a back seat. Rosemary was not happy about it either and told Andrea that they should not welcome Erika with open arms just because she was family. She therefore told Andrea to have Erika investigated. Carrie brought Erika home so that she could pack her things.
She said that the van would come to pick them up the next day. Erika was worried about the family accepting her but Carrie told her not to worry about it. She also said that Erika’s friends could come live with them too.Debbie blamed Adele for abandoning their daughter but Norman told her that it was his fault. He told Debbie what happened with Erika and Debbie lashed out at him.
Agatha asked her grandmother if she was adopted but Ligaya said they would never have put up with her attitude if she was adopted. She wanted to know about her father and where Adele always went but Ligaya was not able to tell her anything. When Adele arrived, her mother told her about the questions Agatha always asked.
She hoped Adele would tell her daughter the truth about her father and her sisters. Rainier was still trying to find Erika and he told Greg that he could do it faster if he did not have to take care of other business. Greg criticized him for not being able to handle two jobs and Rainier said he could do it.Erika packed up her things and was getting ready to leave with Jolo.
Bruce agreed to go with her but Tonyo said he would stay at his house. Erika was worried that the syndicate might get to him and Tonyo said he could take care of himself. Adele enrolled Agatha in a college so that she could have something to do.
