David Secures The Deal With Mr. Lucero. Jill Struggles To Deal With Her Husband’s Betrayal, Shocked With Another Heartbreaking Discovery. Lexy Gives David An Ultimatum While Jill Takes Drastic Action.
David returns home with good news regarding his project with Lucero Builders. His plan to celebrate with his family is cut short by a supposed business phone call. After having a heartfelt conversation with Diane about her situation, Jill chances upon attorney Dante and she’s surprised to find out his specialty.
Upset with David’s reluctance to take action immediately, Lexy considers going abroad to get rid of her pregnancy. Fred and Natalia are taken unawares with their daughter’s sudden plan to take a trip to the states, suspecting that there’s something bothering her.
During the contract signing event, Jill and Lexy both put on a performance, with the former exposing the latter’s plan, taking David by surprise. David waits for an opportune time to confront Lexy and they eventually make up. Jill finds Jose on the brink of death and she hurries to his rescue.
When he finally comes around and learns of her marital issues, he counsels her on the matter. Ready to forgive and start afresh, Jill questions her husband about his infidelity, only for him to strongly deny having cheated on her. In no time, Jill confronts her mother-in-law about her son’s infidelity.
She then proceeds to have David informed of Lexy’s pregnancy, only to be shocked with another heartbreaking discovery. David becomes determined to leave his wife for his mistress. In the meantime, Jill meets up with attorney Dante to discuss her annulment. Lexy abandons her plan to travel abroad, surprising her parents yet again.
On Jill’s request, Diane befriends Lexy with the sole objective of finding out what’s going on with her relationship with David. Jill sneaks into David’s office to search the place for some financial documents. She then proceeds to meet with the lawyer again to discuss matters. After the groundbreaking of David’s project with the Luceros, Lexy gives David an ultimatum.
Jill asks Charlie about her joint investments with her husband in an attempt to figure out the state of their finances. When he’s reluctant to spill the beans, Jill decides to take drastic action. Lexy confides in Diane about her plans before leaving for the states.
David comes at odds with Mr. Lucero and fails to catch up with Lexy to stop her. In the meantime, Jill resorts to the lowest to get the information she wants from Charlie. David’s mother is hospitalized after suffering a heart attack, prompting David to change his ways. Surprisingly, Jill resolves to abort her plan for annulment.
