Erika Struggles To Fit Into Carrie’s Life. The Origin Of The Three Sisters Is Revealed. Agatha Frustrates Her Family. While Erika Continues To Struggle, Carrie Finally Recovers From Coma.
Erika and Andrea leave for the office and Norman remembered how he and Debbie got Carrie.Erika went to the mall to ask about the shooting incident from the previous day but the guard there told her that there was no shooting incident at the mall.
She asked to check the CCTV cameras but the guard said the cameras were out of order. Erika went to work where she found out that the Almeda family owned a hospital. She saw a wall display of the hospital staff which included Carrie’s grandmother Rosemary who was the owner of the hospital. Debbie, Samuel and Carrie herself were all doctors.
Erika was shocked when she was told to go to the operating room to help her mother deliver a baby. Erika went into the operating room after changing into her scrubs but did not know what to do.Debbie insisted that she help her deliver the child but Erika was so nervous that she fainted. Samuel took her out of the operating room for an observation.
He asked that they do a test to see what caused her to faint but Erika refused. Her parents went to check on her too and they thought that her anemia might have resurfaced. Erika said she was fine and they thought that she was probably tired from the jet lag and should have stayed home instead of going to work.
They gave her the day off and Erika rushed out. She called Tonyo to tell him that Carrie was a doctor and she could not keep pretending to be her because she could not avoid going to work. Tonyo went to Manila with Bruce and Jolo and told Erika to go stay with them instead.
Rainier was getting impatient because Carrie had still not woken up. The doctor said that she sustained a serious head injury but would soon wake up. Rainier left orders for the men to get the notebook from her once she was awake. He then left to attend to something else. Meanwhile in Benguet, Agatha’s mother Adele was coming back from Dubai.
Her grandmother asked Agatha to go with her to welcome her but Agatha refused. Adele was disappointed when Agatha did not come to meet her but then thought that she was preparing a welcome party for her at home. When she arrived though, Agatha was just drinking with her friends and did not pay attention to her.
Adele had been working abroad for 20 years to provide for her family and Agatha despised her for not being there to raise her. She refused to stay home when Adele was at home and went out to do her own thing. Agatha was secretly saving up money so that she could move to Manila and pursue her own dreams.
Adele was hurt that her daughter hated her. She was yet to finish college too and kept shifting courses. She therefore decided that she would not return abroad and stay to guide Agatha. Her mother told her to tell Agatha the truth about her siblings but Adele said she would not because Agatha might end up despising her even more.
Adele was a house maid at Norman and Debbie’s house and when the couple could not conceive a child, they asked Adele to be their surrogate.Adele got pregnant but later miscarried the child. Norman did not want Debbie to find out so he suggested that he and Adele sleep together instead.
Adele got pregnant and the plan was to give the child to Norman and Debbie like they had planned before. Adele’s mother however told Adele that things were different now because the child was hers, not Debbie’s. Adele ran away and gave birth to triplets. Norman continued to look for Adele and eventually found her at her house.
He took away the child she was carrying and brought her to Debbie. His men had followed Adele’s mother to the market and took the child she had with her. When they called Norman, he said that he already had his child (Carrie) so the men left the child they had taken (Erika) on the side of the street. The other child (Agatha) was left with Adele.
Back to the present, Erika met up with Tonyo who insisted that she leave Carrie’s house because things were getting complicated. Erika did not want to go because she liked Samuel and mostly because she thought that Carrie’s family might be hers as well.
Tonyo was brooding back home and Bruce told him that it was because he was jealous of Erika being with Samuel.Debbie and Norman had an argument about a new medical test that she and Rosemary were planning on doing at the hospital. They refused to tell him about it and he was worried about the hospital’s reputation.
Erika talked to Norman and he told her about how hard things were in his marriage because his mother-in-law always saw him as a nobody. Erika decided that it would not be a good idea to get married to Samuel. She called Tonyo and told him that she was going to leave Carrie’s house.
