Cardo & His Comrades Begin Working For Lito. Lily & Arturo Decide To Bring Out The President To Face The People. Lito Makes Deliberate Attempts To Impress Alyana.
The Agilas eagerly prepare for their first day of work, excited with the opportunity. Jerome has a heartfelt conversation with Bubbles and when she brings up his promise to settle down with her, he assures her that they would get married once things return to normal. Bubbles squeals with delight and excitement.
While Grandma Flora and Yolly discuss their situation and the adverse effects of it on the studies of the kids, Cardo goes to check up on Clarisse and when he finds her asleep, he blabbers for a while before leaving. The little bratty witch then opens her eyes, rolls it and goes back to sleep. Arturo informs Lily about the letter he had received requesting for the president to face the public.
Though wary as to whether fake Oscar Mariano would be able to pull off the ultimate pretense, Lily and Arturo decide to have a press conference for the president in order to put on a performance to alleviate the suspicions and worries of the citizens.
James would be the one to organize it. Lily talks to Juan on phone and orders him to get from Hipolito the list of all his contacts. During breakfast, Cardo lamely goes on about how nice his wife’s friend is and Alyana is all smiles.
Later, she reflects on the blasted promise she had made Lito and gets quite emotional. She actually wonders how she can make it up to her miserable friend for hurting him by breaking the equally miserable promise. Alyana claims that she løves Cardo yet she’s conflicted and doesn’t know what to do.
Anyway, Cardo and his comrades arrive at the ranch with such excitement to begin their work and they’re supervised by Lito’s subordinates. Speaking of, Lito connives with Salvador to impress Alyana. Hipolito gloats over being the one who’s actually in control and not Lily. In the meantime, Edwin discusses with Elizabeth and co a plan to get him to see the president.
President Hidalgo subconsciously relives some memories with Cardo and his group, particularly moments leading up to when he officially formed Task Force Agila. Lily and Arturo aren’t happy to learn that James is nowhere to be found and can’t be reached to put things in place for the press conference. Back at the ranch, Cardo and his group arrive at the horse pruning area and Salvador coaches them on how to go about their job.
Their supervisor dumps some uniforms on them to change into and start working. Grandma Flora and Yolly have nothing better doing so they resume discussing the difficult situation of their family, as well as Arturo’s determination to get his daughter back. Teddy and Diana are delighted to learn that the Palace has finally agreed to grant their petition.
They look forward to see the president at the upcoming press conference.Virgie begins whining about whether or not it would help with the situation of her daughter and her husband. Salvador brings Alyana, Bubbles and Roxanne to the mansion where the latter is given a uniform as well. She would be working as the head caretaker of the mansion.
Alyana is taken to see Lito who eagerly invites her to join him for breakfast, breakfast that looks like a feast. Anyway, Alyana appreciates him for renovating her family house, and Lito surprises her by gifting her the deed to the land. In the meantime, Cardo and his buddies are glad with their luck and look forward to work diligently in order to repay Lito for his “kindness”.
Roxanne has a talk with the working staff at the mansion regarding their duties before she’s taken on a tour of the place. Meanwhile, Lito catches up with Alyana and seems to impress her with his great achievements and aspirations. Cardo and his buddies are still busy working while Alyana remains in the company of the despicable and calculating Lito.
