Lito Makes Cardo & His Comrades An Attractive Offer. Lily Continues To Train Mariano. Teddy Presumes The Mystery At The Palace. Oscar Attempts To Escape, Prompting Lily To Take Drastic Action.
The episode picks up with the feast at the mansion. Lito thanks everyone for coming and offers to employ them as operations for his company is about to begin. Cardo and his comrades are excited. History keeps repeating itself; all that glitters is not good. Won’t these guys ever learn? I guess they’ll always be growing in their dumbness.
Anyway, James and Edwin rendezvous with Diana and Teddy to update them on the strange situation at the Palace in regards to the president. James worries that the lawless duo, Lily and Arturo, might be controlling the president. Diana expresses the very same worry and Teddy notes that they would have to investigate both Lily and Arturo, with the help of James and Edwin of course.
Lito takes Cardo and co on a tour around his place, while Lily continues to work at Mariano’s acting skills. She’s delighted with the progress he’s made so far. In the meantime, Cardo and co wrap up their visit and tour of the mansion and they eventually say their goodbyes and get on their way back to the safe house since it’s getting late.
Teddy informs Diana of his suspicions in relation to why Lily doesn’t want anyone to get close to the president; he notes that the person he had seen at the hospital could be an imposter and not the real president. Diana hopes not. Speaking of, Oscar struggles out of bed and falls to the ground with a thud. Elizabeth and co get worried so they decide to go up there to investigate.
After Lily hears the sound, she hurries into the room and she’s appalled to find her beloved husband trying to crawl his way out. Jacob has a talk with Hipolito about their business deal with Lily, worried that she could pull a fast one on them. Renato isn’t bothered because he’s always one step ahead. Ironically, Lily has tied Oscar’s hands and restrained them to the bed.
Oscar begins blabbering about how all of her evil plans won’t succeed. Though taken by surprise, Lily taunts and goads him to do something about it. She runs into Elizabeth and co outside the room and when they ask of the loud noise they had heard, she declares that it’s nothing before dismissing them.
Lily quickly notifies Arturo of the problem at hand and a moment later, Oscar lashes out at them for betraying the country, even as he’s sedated. Cardo discusses Lito’s offer with his comrades and they’re all in agreement to accept because of the assurances of Alyana and Mrs. Mauring. On phone, Lily worriedly notifies Hipolito of how Oscar had regained consciousness and knows of their plans.
Renato talks her into giving him double dosage of the sedatives to keep him under control. While Elizabeth and co inform James and Edwin about the strange incident earlier regarding the noise from the president’s room, Oscar subconsciously recalls how he had initially come into the company of Team Cardo, then known as Vendetta.
Alyana puts on a pretty pathetic performance when Cardo informs her that he and the guys have agreed to accept Lito’s offer. In the meantime, Lily stares down at the anesthetized Oscar, actually hoping that he doesn’t die on her just yet.
Hipolito charges his new chemist to ensure that he doesn’t slip up with the dosage. When the guy asks who it’s for, Renato states that it’ll cost him his life if he knows. Subconsciously, Oscar takes another trip down memory lane as he recalls the first encounter with Lily and how she had assisted Vendetta with her resources.
He also remembers his wedding with the jezebel and how she had turned him against Diane and delfin. Anyway, Lily asks Arturo for updates in regards to the search and rescue of Clarisse. At the safe house, Cardo informs Ramon and his wife about their decision to accept the job offer.
Ramon excitedly calls Salvador to notify him and he in turn passes on the information to his boss. Lito is delighted. Ironically, the Agila guys begin talking nonsense as they daydream about their dream jobs. These people are so pathetic at times. Hipolito contacts Lily on phone to tell her of when the drugs would be delivered. Lily warns him to ensure that it doesn’t k!ll the president.
After talking to Salvador on phone again, Ramon announces that Lito wants to meet everyone at the golf course to talk about the jobs he would give them. Cardo and his comrades are excited.
