James & Edwin Try To Approach The President but Lily Becomes A Stumbling Block. Cardo Decides To Accept Lito’s Offer. Mariano Undergoes More Training. Cardo, Alyana & Co Arrive At Lito’s Mansion
Hipolito and Lily take turns trying to talk some sense into their respective henchman. Later, Arturo worries that Juan would cause them problems. Hipolito thinks just the same but Lily insists that he’s important for the success of their business. Lito reminisces on a blasted memory with Alyana when Salvador comes over to deliver some good news to him regarding his businesses.
When he asks why he looks so upset, Lito mentions that Alyana has a husband who’s a cop. Speaking of, Cardo and Alyana have a talk about their plan to stay in Batangas permanently once and for all after the chaos is over. They blabber some nonsense about how their hearts beats for each other. As Lily reprimands Juan yet again, Hipolito and Jacob bask in the success of their cunning scheme.
It turns out that they had planned to provoke Juan in order to get him kicked out of the business. Interestingly, Lito plots to k!ll our favorite hero…with kindness. Cardo reflects on his encounter with Lito. He questions Alyana about why she had never told him about him before and she lamely states that he has nothing to worry about.
Talk turns to their situation and Alyana assures him that his miserable friend would never put them in danger or sell them out. Cardo decides to take her miserable word for it. Elizabeth and her companion use the snacks they had prepared to føöl the guards and keep them preoccupied while James and Edwin sneak up behind them and slip into the president’s room.
Lily is on her way back to the Palace with Arturo, and she tells him of her plan to give Oscar’s body double more intense training to prepare him. Speaking of, fake Oscar Mariano stares down at the unconscious president, blabbering about how he’s privileged and happy to be in the Palace. James and Edwin are surprised when they find the president’s room empty and deserted.
Outside, Ambo hurries over to notify his coworkers of the arrival of the First Lady. Fake Oscar Mariano comes out of the inner room where the real Oscar is confined in as James and Edwin are about to walk out. They’re surprised to see the president. As they try to get closer to talk to him, Lily shows up with Arturo to stop them.
She later scolds them for going against her orders. Bubbles and Mrs. Mauring behave like pathetic high school teenagers, gushing over how handsome and nice Lito is. Speaking of, the miserable guy reflects on some memories with Alyana. Cardo has a talk with the group regarding his willingness to accept Lito’s offer.
Delfin seconds him and Basco notes that they need to learn more about Lito in order to ascertain whether he’s a friend or a foe. Oscar pretends to be unconscious when he notices the doctor coming over. In the meantime, Lily takes Mariano through some more training to perfect his acting skills. At the hideout, Basco has a heartfelt conversation with Opëña about their situation.
Alyana whines about not having better clothes to put on in order to look more presentable. Cardo apologizes for not being able to buy her some. He’s sorry that she married a poor man like himself. Alyana then deflects the situation.
After she gets dressed, she joins the group and they journey all the way to Lito’s mansion.
They proceed inside after admiring the building for a while. Lito welcomes them and leads them to the huge table where he had prepared a feast for them. Mrs. Mauring and Alyana reflect on some memories with Lito and when the latter asks of his parents, he recounts how he had lost them tragically.
Alyana is surprised to learn that her supposed good friend is still single despite being so successful. When she asks about it, Lito states so pathetically that he’s still waiting for the only woman he’s ever lóved. Awkward much. Cardo merely looks on, evidently lost at sea. Meanwhile, Oscar reflects on some memories with his family as well as how he had lost them, then being rescued by our favorite hero.
He then recalls the chaos at his recent wedding, followed by his last unfriendly encounter with Cardo while defending his miserable wife Lily. Diana and Teddy deliberate on the probability of the president needing to be rescued from the clutches of Lily and Arturo. Diana wonders if it’s still possible to mend the rift and restore the friendship between Cardo and the president.Read Next Episode on Brothers Episode 573
