Lito Reunites With Alyana & Makes Team Cardo A Generous Offer. Teddy Cooks Up A Cunning Scheme. Lily Meets Hipolito To Discuss Their Plans. Jacob & Juan Engage In A Heated Showdown, Infuriating Lily & Hipolito.
Clarisse whines about the undesired situation she’s been forced to stay in. She complains that she looks like a jungle woman when she should be home having a beauty rest. George passes a ridiculous comment in an attempt to appease her. Soriano is at it again as he smooth-talks Robles yet again, impressing Billy and the others.
Cardo’s group come across a couple of houses and people in the area and they decide to retrace their steps and go back to the rendezvous place so they’re not exposed. Lito arrives outside the safe house in Batangas and he proceeds inside after doing some more pointless reminiscing.
He’s delighted when he finally sees Alyana and he embraces her, glad that she’s supposedly returned to fulfill her promise. Before Alyana can react, Mauring and Ramon interfere with such excitement to welcome their greatest benefactor.
Teddy comes up with a brilliant idea – to write a critical article about the president’s disappearance in an attempt to provoke the citizens to action.
Cardo radios the other two teams for them to regroup at the rendezvous place and return to base. Lito can’t seem to hide his excitement over Alyana’s return. As he asks her why she had come back, Cardo returns with his buddies.
Alyana introduces her friends to Lito, and painstakingly with some hesitance, she introduces Cardo as her husband. Lito stares surprisingly and reluctantly shakes Cardo’s hand. When he comes to learn of the precarious situation of the group, he promises to ensure their safety and help them in any way.
Delfin and Cardo express their appreciation. Meanwhile, Teddy and Diana have a talk with Virgie about the president’s strange behavior.
Lito has a private conversation with Alyana about how he’s worked his way out of poverty to become the successful man he is today. Alyana is happy for him.
Cardo and co deliberate on their situation, as well as Lito’s offer of protection, with Ramil stating that they need to be careful of who to trust. Mauring and Ramon strive to convince them that Lito is a nice guy and would never betray them. Ironically, Lito invites Alyana to his mansion and she notes that she has to ask her husband’s permission. Lito is evidently disappointed.
In the meantime, Teddy contacts a fellow media personnel to request his help and that of other journalists; he plans to use an open letter to compel the Palace and make the president face the people. Back in Batangas, Lito extends the invite to the rest of the group before leaving, and a couple of the guys are really excited. Lily and Arturo meet up with Hipolito to discuss their plans.
At the Palace, James and Edwin meet with Elizabeth and co and they also discuss plans of their own – to find a way to finally speak to the president. Ironically, fake president examines a photo portrait of the real president, glad that he would be enjoying his envious position.
Lito has Alyana see him off while Cardo and co discuss about him and whether or not he’s trustworthy. The Palace workers prepare some food to use as an excuse to get into the president’s room. Lily talks down at Hipolito’s failure to accomplish the job of taking out our favorite hero, worried that he would get in the way of their plans.
Upon returning to the group, Bubbles gushes over how handsome Lito is and Alyana cuts her off and makes it her mission to convince everyone that Lito is trustworthy and would never do anything that would put them in danger. Ramon and Mauring back her up of course.
Meanwhile, Jacob picks a fight with Juan and as they draw their güñs on each other, Hipolito and Lily both show up to scold, insult and reprimand them. At the Palace, Mariano slips out of his room. Interestingly, Lito won’t back down in spite of the fact that Alyana is already married. He vows to win her back.
