President Hidalgo Puts On A Performance. Arturo Plots To Rescue Clarisse & Finish Off Cardo. Fake Oscar Is Spotted By Elizabeth. Lito Plans To Get Alyana Back While Cardo & Co Explore The Mountain.
President Hidalgo slips out of the room and stumbles along the hallway, only to run into Augustus who stops him from going any further. He’s even more surprised when he sees Lily and Arturo coming over. Oscar wakes up in the bed he’s restrained in, looking all distressed and miserable.
Lily is glad that the president’s body double has been improving. She’s hopeful that they would be able to show him to the people soon.Arturo gets upset when Lily notes that he’s not been in the right frame of mind recently. He declares that he’s been working tirelessly to find Cardo because his conflict with him has become personal.
After surveying the area for a probable escape route, Major Opëña charges Billy and the others to ensure that Clarisse doesn’t escape lest they would all be in danger. Lily goes to see Oscar to taunt him again with her power and evil schemes.
Silently, Oscar who’s pretending to be still unconscious vows to make her pay for all of her crimes when he fully recovers. Lito reminisces on some memories with Alyana, eager to see her again. Soriano continues with his ridiculous advances at Robles and she leads him on.
Delfin has a conversation with Basco and Opëña about their situation, just as Cardo reflects on his last unfriendly encounter with President Hidalgo. In the meantime, Lily and Arturo visit Oscar in his room and the former begins blabbering about her plan to become the next president. Ironically, Mariano sneaks into the kitchen late at night to grab some food from the fridge.
As he eats, Elizabeth sees him and calls out to him. Fake Oscar hides his face and tells her to stay away from him, all the while running off back to his room. The next morning, the girls wake up Clarisse for breakfast but she refuses to budge. Bubbles swallows her pride and apologizes for what had happened between them before. Still, the little brat refuses to eat. She plans to escape no matter what.
After breakfast, Cardo brings Clarisse her food in her room and tries to make her understand the situation they’re in. Clarisse gives him attitude all the same. Cardo acknowledges her help on their escape and promises to let her go back home once things settle down. After he leaves the room, Clarisse is all smiles. Cardo rejoins Delfin, Basco and the others to tell them of his talk with the little brat.
At the Palace, Elizabeth tells her coworkers, plus James and Edwin about her strange encounter with the president last night. James and Edwin tend to get worried about the president’s real condition and they decide to notify Diana and Teddy. Arturo has formed a special task force for the search of his precious daughter. Once reliable information is acquired, he plans to personally lead the attack on Cardo and his group and rescue his daughter.
Said group commence on a tour of the neighboring area of the house. Lito decides to go and see Alyana so he orders Antonio to cancel all of his meetings. Antonio cautions that it could be bad for business but Lito doesn’t give a damn because Alyana is most important to him. He then orders Salvador to prepare some things for his trip.
Lily gives Arturo some time to focus on rescuing his daughter before they resume with their plans, and he’s much appreciative. Elizabeth spies as they go and see the fake president in his room. After receiving James and Edwin’s report, Teddy declares that the citizens need to pressure the First Lady to present the president to them.
Lito sets off for the safe house, hoping that Alyana’s løve for him hasn’t completely faded away after everything she’s been through because he’s never stopped løving her. Juan meets with Hipolito and Jacob again and soon begins talking down at the place they’re keeping the shipment, even taunting them with the fact that he’s the right hand man of the the First Lady.
Jacob gets upset and trades words with her but Hipolito deals with him calmly, though he subtly makes mockery of him. In the meantime, Cardo and co continue their exploration of the forest. At a point, they break into three groups in order to cover more ground quickly. Meanwhile, Lito also continues his journey to the safe house to see Alyana.
