Ronaldo Makes A Scene As He Tries To Get Joyce To Forgive Him. Lawrence Catches Joyce With Noel In A Compromising Situation.
Noel Proposes To Kristine While Joyce Strives To Salvage The Situation.
Lawrence asked his parents why they had not told him and Joyce that Ronaldo was moving back into the house and Joyce just stood there not saying anything. Ronaldo nervously walked in front of Joyce and to everyone’s surprise, he dropped down on his knees. He looked up to her and gave the most epic apology we have ever heard of.
He said it was selfish of him to do what he had done to Joyce long ago, along with many other things but Joyce looked on in tears as Alejandra tried to get Ronaldo to stand up but he did not. After Ronaldo’s long apology, Joyce finally spoke. She told him that if he really was sorry for what he had done, he knew how she wanted him to show it. He had to go to the authorities and turn himself in so that she could forgive him.
Alejandra cut in and told Joyce that her husband was not going to jail and that Joyce should just accept Ronaldo’s apology since she was part of the family and they had to move on. Lawrence told Alejandra that she knew how hard everything was for Joyce. He also moved forward and helped Ronaldo up since he was still on his knees. Joyce took the opportunity that Lawrence was distracted to bail on them and ran out of the house.
Lawrence tried to run after her but Alejandra asked him to let her go and think things through.Lawrence stayed back to speak to his parents and asked them why they had not told him of Ronaldo’s return so he could have had time to prepare Joyce for it.
Alejandra argued that even if Joyce had known, she still would not have agreed to it. She said that she had asked Ronaldo to move back not only for herself and her campaign, but also so that he could be able to mend his relationship with Lawrence as well as Joyce since they were a family.
She therefore asked Lawrence to talk to Joyce and try to convince her. Ronaldo beat himself up for making things worse by returning to the house but Alejandra said he had done the right thing. Lawrence thus went on his way to look for Joyce.Kristine was having trouble eating because Ronaldo had gone to stay with Alejandra and Noel told her that going on a hunger strike would not bring her father back.
They therefore had to accept things and move on. Lourdes did not seem all that bothered. Joyce had gone to tell Imelda about Ronaldo moving back to the mansion and she had raised hell. Lawrence arrived to talk to Joyce and suggested that the two of them should move out of the mansion and find another place.
Joyce told him that taking her away was not a solution while Imelda told him that she regretted having given her blessing to Lawrence to marry Joyce since he was not taking care of her, adding that she would not allow Joyce to go back to his house. Shakira and Jason had to pull her away so that they could give Joyce and Lawrence some privacy to talk.
Joyce told Lawrence that she was hurt and disappointed in him for having forgiven his father after one apology, knowing full well what his father had done to her. Lawrence told her that he løved her and fought for her to the point of turning his back on his family and now he asked that Joyce understand that Ronaldo was still his father.
He told her that he would not force Joyce to forgive him, but she was also not to stop him from løving his father.The two of them returned to Lawrence’s house and Lawrence told his parents that he and Joyce would move out of the house. Joyce went immediately upstairs and called Kristine.
She told him that Ronaldo was back at the house and she was finding it hard to go on with their plans. Kristine told her that maybe they should stop with the revenge and move on but Joyce told her that she had to get back at Alejandra so she would try to stay at the house.
She told Kristine that she felt better after talking to her because at the house, no one understood her and even Lawrence was siding with his parents. Lawrence heard this last bit of the conversation before Joyce hang up. He did not know who Joyce was talking to though. Later, he took Joyce’s phone as she slept and tried to go through it. He then went to sleep but he remembered Hannah telling him to be careful of his wife.
The next morning, Joyce joined everyone for breakfast and told them that he was going to try and forgive Ronaldo but to do this, she needed the remaining scars from her ordeal removed. Alejandra was so happy that she agreed to pay for Joyce’s surgery. Noel called Joyce and told her that he wished to see her. Joyce told him that she would tell him the place and time.
Lawrence walked in as Joyce hang up and she told him that it was Imelda she was talking to. Joyce then told Lawrence that she wanted to go to the hospital by herself because it was something she needed to do alone and Lawrence agreed. Joyce went to her surgery and met up with Noel. Noel wanted to tell her that he intended to propose to Kristine and he showed her the ring.
Joyce was happy for him and told him that they needed to be apart so that each of them could find the person they løved.Joyce told Noel that she would tell Lawrence about Alejandra once everything was over because she did not like lying to him. Lawrence had gone to pick Joyce up at the hospital but the nurse told him that she had already left. He went out and was on the phone trying to call her when he saw her with Noel.
He had his hands around her and Lawrence immediately went to punch him. Joyce stopped him and told him that she and Noel were just talking. She then asked Noel to leave. Noel went to Kristine’s house to tell him that he had gotten Joyce in trouble after Lawrence saw them together. Kristine asked him why he had gone to see Joyce and Noel showed her the ring.
He told her that he had tried to convince Joyce to leave the revenge plan alone since he wanted to marry her and live in peace. He told Kristine that he wanted to propose to her in a more romantic way but he had been forced to tell her about it. Kristine however rejected Noel’s proposal, saying that it was not the right time. Lawrence and Joyce arrived home screaming at each other as Joyce tried to explain to him that she had just been talking to Noel.
Alejandra and Ronaldo went to eavesdrop at their door and Alejandra ultimately walked in the room to slap Joyce for cheating on her son. Ronaldo had to make Alejandra leave the room so that the two of them could talk. Joyce told Lawrence that she had only met Noel so that they could patch things up.
