Joyce & Kristine Publicly Expose Alejandra, Creating A Major Scandal. Alejandra Strives To Do Damage Control & She Makes Ronaldo An Offer.
Noel and Kristine discussed Alejandra’s downfall. They had already secured a tape from the guy Alejandra had paid and were waiting to give it to Joyce. Gani arrived at Kristine’s house to tell her and Noel goodbye since he was travelling to Cebu to handle another case. Shakira helped Joyce get ready for the evening’s event and asked her why she had not yet told Lawrence about Alejandra.
Joyce told him that Lawrence would only confront his mother and she would deny everything. At the event, Joyce and Shakira met with Noel and Kristine, who gave them a flash disc. Joyce gave them journalist passes so that they would not look suspicious. After handing Joyce the flash drive, Noel asked Kristine to leave but she refused, saying that she wanted to witness Alejandra’s downfall.
Shakira and Joyce moved to the next part of their plan, whereby Shakira distracted the guy at the monitor controls as Joyce switched the flash drive that was supposed to be played with the one Noel and Kristine had given her. Alejandra’s briefing commenced after everyone had arrived. Ronaldo made a surprise appearance to support Alejandra. Alejandra gave a touching speech about how she would help people seek justice for the wrongs done against them, citing her daughter-in-law Joyce as her motivation.
She gave the cue for the tape to be played and the shock was on her face when the man on the video said that Alejandra had paid her to accuse Kristine and frame her for the disappearance of the evidence from Joyce’s case. Alejandra yelled for the tape to be stopped but the damage had already been done. Ronaldo was now also upset with her for trying to implicate his daughter and so was the entire crowd that had been gathered.
Noel and Kristine had to leave immediately so that they would not be spotted. They dragged Leslie along who had been there to meet Jason. Jason saw them and rushed to tell Joyce that he had seen Kristine. Alejandra was bombarded by the press but she cried and said that she did not know what was going on.
Everyone was confused so madam Salve gathered them all up and said that they would go to discuss things at home, away from the press. Jason caught up with Joyce and Lawrence almost heard him say that he had seen Kristine at the event but Joyce cut him off and asked Shakira to take him home.
At the house, Alejandra continued to play the victim and Mike suggested that it was one of the political enemies who had been behind the video, theory madam Salve readily accepted. Gani who was away also got to learn about the scandal via the news. The next day, Salve and Alejandra berated Hannah for doing a shady job and she tried to defend herself by saying that it was the first time she had ever done anything like that.
They tried to think of who could have switched the videos and Hannah remembered finding Joyce at the study the day they had found the video. She mentioned this but both Salve and Alejandra told her that Joyce was the one person who wanted Kristine imprisoned, so she could not have done it. Joyce was listening in on them and smiled to herself, knowing that Alejandra did not suspect her.
Gani returned after learning about Kristine and Noel’s latest adventure. When they saw him, they asked him to help them and the 3 of them went to meet Joyce. Joyce left the house with Shakira and said that she was going to her mother’s house. Hannah asked Alejandra if she could follow her but Alejandra asked her to look for the witness on the video who had now become elusive.
Joyce and Shakira went to meet Gani, Noel and Shakira at the church. They told Gani that they wanted to press charges since they now had the evidence but Gani who is actually not up for the entire plan and thinks it dangerous, put a damper on things by telling them that the witness had a lot of charges against him so he was not credible.
They had also paid him, which was not a good picture and it might also bring up the stolen evidence issue which would then implicate Noel.Everyone was not glad to hear that they needed something else to pin Alejandra. Lawrence contacted Joyce so she said she had to leave.
As Joyce walked into the church to leave from the front door, Noel followed her to talk to her while Gani accompanied Kristine at the other side of the church. Noel thanked Joyce for what she was doing for Kristine and even touched her arm. Hannah, who had followed Joyce all along, saw her with Noel. She took a quick picture of them and got into her car to leave.
Fortunately, Kristine and Noel who were already on the same side of the church saw her. They rushed back in to tell Joyce that Hannah had been there and might already know about their plans. Joyce told them that Hannah had been suspicious of her but the rest did not believe her. She however told them that she would take care of things.
Joyce went back to the house with Shakira in tow. She decided she was going to channel her inner Alejandra and lie her way out of the issue. Hannah as expected had told everyone, Lawrence included, about seeing Joyce with Noel and she showed them the picture. Joyce walked in confidently and went to ki$$ Lawrence as if she did not know anything was up.
Lawrence pushed her aside and asked where she was. She said she was at her mother’s but had stopped at the house where she had ran into Noel. She said she had argued with Noel for accusing Alejandra and it was Shakira who had stopped them. It was her word against Hannah and since her explanation was more plausible, everyone believed her.
Lawrence later apologized to Joyce for having doubted her and he promised that he will never do it again. Alejandra on the other hand, scolded Hannah and asked her to leave Joyce alone. Ronaldo went to see Kristine and asked her not to press charges against Alejandra. She and Noel feigned being angry but agreed to do it.
Ronaldo then went to see Alejandra and told her that he had talked to Kristine and asked her not to press charges against her so he also needed her not to attack Kristine. He also agreed to accompany Alejandra on her campaigns.
