Joyce & Kristine’s Plan To Expose Alejandra Publicly Goes Horribly Wrong. Noel Discovers The Terrible Truth. Ronaldo Saves Alejandra’s Campaign.
Noel drank his sorrows away after Kristine broke up with him. His father told him to take his time to talk with Kristine and eventually, she would realize what a kind man he was. Alejandra took extra care of Ronaldo in his room and Lawrence listened in on them. Alejandra told Ronaldo that she had always hoped he would reciprocate her løvë in the years they were married and Ronaldo apologized to her for hurting her.
Alejandra left Ronaldo in the room and went outside to find Lawrence waiting for him. Lawrence asked her to make Ronaldo leave because of Joyce but Alejandra said she would not turn him away because he was her husband and he needed to take care of her. Ronaldo left the room as well and found the two of them outside. He was not feeling well but wanted to leave the house.
As he walked past Lawrence, he stumbled and fell down and Lawrence had to pick him up. Ronaldo clung to him and told him that he always løvëd him even though he seemed to løve Kristine more. He also told him that he was happy Lawrence had not turned out like him. Joyce left her room to find the party outside but she did not speak to either of them. She stormed down the stairs and Lawrence followed her.
Lawrence told her that Alejandra had refused to turn Ronaldo away and that he would only stay for the night. Joyce was absolutely not okay with it but there was nothing left to be done.In the morning, Ronaldo woke up and Alejandra invited him for breakfast. They did not have a peaceful meal because Joyce walked away when Ronaldo arrived at the table.
Ronaldo decided to leave and Alejandra saw him out. They had such a pleasant conversation as Ronaldo thanked her for taking care of him and she told him that she was only doing her duty. She then invited him to the event they were attending that evening and asked that the peace they were having would last.
Joyce watched the two of them from a hidden spot, then texted Kristine, telling her that she expected to see him at the event that evening. Kristine went to the event with Gani that evening and Noel went to see Kristine after the two had left. Leslie was the one who opened the door for Noel when he knocked, then she went to call Lourdes.
Lourdes told Noel that Kristine was not in and Leslie proceeded to make things worse by saying that Kristine had gone on a date with Gani.Lourdes clarified that Gani had only accompanied Kristine to an event but once again, Leslie jumped in and said that she thought Gani and Kristine were going out since Kristine had broken up with Noel.
At the event, Alejandra and Salve had to talk to Joyce because she was still upset over Ronaldo staying in the house. Joyce managed to pull herself together and hugged Alejandra, saying that she was sorry for her attitude and that she hoped they would enjoy the party. Joyce then spotted Kristine and went beside her.
They were whispering to each other and Joyce thanked her for coming. She told Kristine that all she had to do was provoke Alejandra and she would embarrass herself. She then set the plan in motion by shouting at her. Alejandra, Lawrence and Salve went to see what was wrong and Alejandra asked Kristine what she was doing there.
Gani said that he had secured an invitation and had brought Kristine with her. Kristine then tried to bait Alejandra but she was graceful enough to walk away with just a few exchanges. Kristine followed her and accidentally brought a glass tumbling on Alejandra’s feet. She told Alejandra that it was not her fault Ronaldo had chosen to løve her mother instead of her.
Alejandra feigned being injured and thus Lawrence told Kristine to leave and not cause any trouble. Joyce also went to Kristine, slapped her and asked her not to hurt her mother-in-law. Kristine and Gani left the room as the guards arrived to escort them away. Gani was surprised by Kristine because she had not really told him why she had been there.
She did not tell him either why she was trying to provoke Alejandra but said she needed to go to the bathroom.Kristine went to meet up with Joyce instead and Ronaldo who had accepted Alejandra’s invitation, saw her. Joyce and Kristine went to hide so that they could talk and Joyce apologized to Kristine for slapping her but said they needed to keep up with the act.
It was then that Ronaldo came searching for Kristine and Joyce had to hide. Kristine told Ronaldo that she had been on the phone with Lourdes since he asked who she had been talking to. He then asked her what she was doing at the party and Kristine said that she was there to disturb Alejandra.
She then asked Ronaldo what he was doing there and was surprised to find out that he was there to support Alejandra. Gani was scolded for the trouble Kristine had caused and the mayor threatened to take away his support for his advocacy if Kristine continued to cause trouble for their candidate.
Gani took Kristine home and was extra affectionate with her as he told her to take care not to provoke Alejandra since she could retaliate. Noel watched the exchange from his car and was upset with Gani since he had now confirmed his suspicions. His father asked him to think carefully about what he was going to do.
Back at the party, a reporter bombarded Alejandra with questions about her broken marriage and a woman there started saying that a person with a broken home could not be trusted to hold office. Ronaldo was there to save the situation as he heaped praise on Alejandra for doing her best to try and save their family.
The woman left and then the reporter asked Ronaldo if he and his wife were still together. Ronaldo answered by ki$_ing Alejandra straight on the lips in front of everyone. They then posed for pictures and Lawrence asked Joyce to pose with the family for his sake. Alejandra thanked Ronaldo for what he had done.
