Ronaldo Confesses The Truth To Kristine. Devastated, Joyce Reunites With Kristine & Enlists Her Help To Bring Alejandra Down. Leslie & Jason Run Into Trouble. Noel Returns Home. Ronaldo Attempts Süiçide.
Ronaldo asked Kristine why she wanted to know about what had happened to Joyce, and Kristine told him that it was because she and her mother had also been affected and indirectly to paid for what Ronaldo had done. Ronaldo deemed it a good enough reason, so he proceeded to tell Kristine about his initial encounter with Joyce and how it had all been a misunderstanding.
He then added that Rigor and Alejandra had decided to take care of the situation since he had been so confused but he did not know that Alejandra and Rigor had planned on burning Joyce. Joyce listened in as Ronaldo narrated everything. When Ronaldo was done, he asked Kristine to find it in herself to forgive what he had done but Kristine told him it was not going to be easy.
Ronaldo told her that he would confess to what he had done and try to make things up to Kristine and Lourdes. Kristine told him that they were going to leave everything behind but said she would try to see if Lourdes would hear out Ronaldo’s apology. Kristine then left and went to where Joyce had been hiding and she found her in tears.
She hugged her and when they got to talking, they apologized to each other for everything they had done to one another while the enemy had not been either of them. Joyce apologized to Kristine for making her go to jail and lose her clinic, while Kristine apologized to Joyce for what Ronaldo had done to her.
After that, Joyce told Kristine that they had to make Alejandra pay for what she had done but Kristine told her that she and her family were leaving all the chaos behind and that she did not want any more trouble. Joyce told Kristine that she needed her help in bringing down Alejandra since she could not let her get away with what she had done to her.
She added that Alejandra was running for congress and if she won, she would have more power to hurt others and it was therefore up to them to stop her. Kristine was still not up for the idea but Joyce insisted that they do it. She told Kristine that there would be a dinner the following day and since a lot of people would be there, Kristine would attend it.
Alejandra would not be able to contain herself with Kristine there and so she would expose her true colours, letting everyone know who she was.
Joyce went to her mother’s house where she lit candles on her father’s picture and promised to avenge his death as well as Lea’s. Imelda found her there and asked what was wrong but Joyce did not tell her what she had found out. She only said that she missed her father.
Leslie and Jason met each other again outside the church that Alejandra was undertaking her campaign. Leslie told Jason that they were moving away and Jason was sad that they would not see each other much. Leslie asked Jason to tell Joyce to take care since her mother-in-law was not a good person. She then saw Alejandra inside the church and in an impulsive moment, she took a rock and hit Alejandra’s car.
Alejandra’s body guards were there in an instant and started chasing both Leslie and Jason. Leslie was slow so she got caught and Jason went back to defend her. Jason told the guards that he was Joyce’s brother and so the guards had to let them go. The little incident left Leslie’s arms bruised and Jason decided to see her safely back home.
Joyce went home in the evening and as they were having dinner, Alejandra and Salve were on her case about missing Alejandra’s campaign activities. Lawrence defended her by saying she had been busy and Joyce promised to avail herself for the rest of Alejandra’s campaign. Kristine and Lourdes were packing up their stuff when Ronaldo went to see them. He tried to apologize to Lourdes but she told him that she did not want anything to do with him anymore.
Lourdes shouted at him and told him to leave the house since there was nothing he could do to fix what he had done. A dejected Ronaldo had no option but to leave. Kristine even pitied him but Lourdes asked her not to sympathize with him since he would never change.Leslie arrived at the house right after Ronaldo left and she was still pretty shaken due to the incident with Alejandra’s guards.
She told Kristine and Lourdes what had happened and Lourdes said that they now had to leave immediately but Kristine said that they would not go anywhere. She remembered Joyce telling her that Alejandra would only continue hurting more people, so she told Leslie and Lourdes that there was something she had to do. Noel and his father finally arrived back in Manila and later, he summed up the courage to call Kristine.
Kristine was surprised to hear from him but not at all pleased. She asked him why he had disappeared, hinting that maybe her problems had been too much for him to handle. Noel was not able to explain himself and only apologized, saying that it had been extremely hard for him to stay away but he would explain things to her once he had taken care of everything.
Kristine however was not up for it. She told him that she was tired of waiting in vain and that it was over between them. Kristine went down to tell Lourdes that Noel had called and Lourdes said not to bother with him since they could handle things without the men.
Ronaldo went to drink his sorrows away but he suddenly got suiçidal in the middle of it and decided that his life was not worth anything it anymore. He stood on the edge of the roof and was contemplating jumping when Mike found him and managed to stop him. He then called Alejandra.
Alejandra went to get Ronaldo and took him to her house. He faced opposition from Joyce and Lawrence but she told them that it was her house and she could do whatever she wanted. She asked the guards to carry him upstairs since he was out of it and we ended with Lawrence asking Joyce if she was fine.
