James Tips Off Diana. Edwin’s Suspicions Intensifies. Arturo Becomes Desperate For Results. Task Force Agila Successfully Rescue Delfin. Cardo Takes Refuge With His Inlaws.
Secretary Padua whines nonstop about how Cardo had taken his precious daughter captive after Juan had failed at his job. The First Lady offers to send an entire team after our favorite hero to crush him but Arturo objects to that, saying that he doesn’t want his daughter to get caught in the crossfire.
Meanwhile, James calls Diana on phone to inform her of Cardo’s recent adventures, as well as the imminent threat to Delfin’s life. A moment later at the hospital, the doctor checks up on the poor old man. Diana calls Cardo on phone to notify him of what she’s learned and he agrees to meet at his in-laws’ place to address the issue.
At the Palace, Captain Salonga tries to sneak into the president’s room to see him but Lily stops him and declares that no one is allowed to see her dear husband while he’s still recovering. Edwin later runs into James and he has a talk with him about his ever increasing suspicions.
Alyana arrives at her parents’ place with Bubbles in tow to tell them of the situation at hand. Virgie reverts to her usual bïtçhy, nagging self, whining some crap and criticizing our favorite hero like always. Alyana, Teddy and JP defend Cardo.
A moment later, Cardo arrives with Clarisse and Virgie childishly snubs him when he tries to greet her.
Lily talks to Juan on phone and scolds him on the failed attempt to eliminate Cardo. She has her back turned to the comatose Oscar so she’s unable to notice him showing signs of life again. Silently, Oscar who seems to have heard everything, prays for the safety of our favorite hero.
Back at the Arevalo residence, Cardo reveals the plot to have his beloved grandpa k!lled. Arturo is desperate to get back his daughter and finish off Cardo once and for all. Lily calms him down a little and proceeds to contact Hipolito on phone for assistance on the matter.
Hipolito actually finds the situation amusing and secretly plans to stay on the sidelines to watch Cardo and Arturo battle it out. Diana regroups with Cardo at the Arevalo residence to ascertain her claim. While Raymundo gives the order for a lackey of his to do the dirty job, Cardo desperately reaches out to Major Basco for help to rescue his grandpa since he’s wanted.
Major Opeña gets onboard real fast and they meet with the rest of Task Force Agila to inform them. It doesn’t take long for Basco to call Cardo back with a positive response. Cardo expresses his gratitude for the help and Diana is a little relieved.
The members of Task Force Agila begin to plan the rescue operation, irrespective of the fact that they would no longer be able to go back to the police force once it’s all done. Back at the Arevalos, Virgie doesn’t disappoint as she resumes with her nagging and whining, criticizing Cardo yet again for getting into trouble again.
Much to her miserable mother’s chagrin, Alyana resolves to go into hiding with her husband at their old house in Batangas.Cardo stops Clarisse from leaving so their enemies don’t find out about their plans. Speaking of, Task Force Agila prepare for their rescue mission.
With immediate effect, they put plans in place to initiate their plan. They manage to retrieve Delfin from the hospital without much of a hitch and transport him to a waiting ambulance. Raymundo’s lackey arrives a moment too late. Before the doctor and the officers on guard duty know what’s up, the Agilas have already gotten away with Delfin safely.
The goon calls Raymundo on phone to notify him of Delfin’s escape, with help from the Agilas, who are en route to deliver the poor old man to his grandson. During the trip to the rendezvous place, Clarisse tries to text her father for help but Bubbles catches her and snatches the phone from her. The little brat then begins whining and ranting.
In the meantime, Delfin cautions the guys about the implications of their actions and Basco and Opeña make it clear that they’re ready to face the consequences, adding that they would help Cardo keep him safe and not let Lily’s evil plans succeed. Cardo is delighted to learn of the success of the rescue mission and the episode concludes as he continues to drive to the location where they had planned to meet.Read Next Episode on Brothers Episode 566
